Century Automotive of Austin, LLC [redacted] August 1, Dear [redacted] ***: I am writing in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] * [redacted] on July 2, and assigned an ID # [redacted] Have been in this business for a very long time, and realize that things can happen despite one’s best effortsThere is no excuse for what happened, in any case and I can only express a sense of relief that nothing serious happened as a result When ** [redacted] returned to the automotive shop I expressed my concern and informed her that the car would be immediately tended toAfter inspecting the vehicle, I realized that ** [redacted] was no longer in the shop or outsideShe had left without saying a word.Later, [redacted] arrivedI had a conversation with [redacted] , who I wrongly assumed was ***’s husband because the invoice was in his nameIt turned out he is her ex-husbandI expressed my apologies and relief regarding the problemI then had a telephone conversation with Ms [redacted] in which I expressed my feelings and she graciously accepted my apologies Upon receiving the vehicle I had immediately went in to “fix it” mode and did not spend time with ** [redacted] showing my concern regarding her well-being and safetyShe had every right to be concernedI fully understand the trust that our customers place in our ability to properly repair their carsIt is of the utmost importance and I take that responsibility very seriouslyIt is regretful that this incident occurred This complaint had been addressed and resolvedIf you should have any questions or concerns, Please do not hesitate to contact meYours sincerely, [redacted]

I had gone to Paul T's business to repair my vehicle's damage after a wind storm He was replacing the front left fender flare, fixing the paint damage over the hood and the frame of the windshield, & replacing the windshield Pickup day, due to work schedule, my brother & mother drove out to pick up my vehicle right before he closed the shop a week after drop off My brother dropped it off as I was just getting home from work I looked at the repairs & everything looked great I got in my car to drop him back off at his house & the radio appeared to be off I asked my brother why he didn't turn the radio on & his response was "I'm not familiar with it so I just left it alone." I attempt to turn the radio on & nothing I pull over & turn the car off & then back on to see if that was the problem & nothing, but upon closer inspection I can see that the radio was pushed in on the right side I had my mother, who was also in the vehicle, call Pa
