damage, it was noted that the direction of the observed scratches were not consistent with the movements of our equipment. Mr [redacted] stated that his car had been in a body shop and had been freshly painted, but also stated that his car was covered in dust from the body shop. The scratches could have occurred at the body shop, and not noticed due to the car being covered in dust. Additionally, since Mr. [redacted] left the premises and returned over 24 hours later, we can’t be certain that these scratches didn’t occur elsewhere in that time. While we understand Mr. [redacted]’s frustration with scratches on his vehicle, we do not believe that the scratches were caused by our car wash.
