Horrible fulfillment and customer service I ordered a gift card on 12/16/and another item The confirmation stated the itemS were in stock and would be shipped by 12/and received by 12/ Even though that seemed pretty long (spoiled by Amazon) and was after Christmas , I accepted it On 12/I got a notice that only the partial order would be shipped The gift card was listed as backordered
Not only is that bad by itself, when I called, the customer service rep at the phone number on the email was HORRIBLE He stated he had no idea what was in the shipment en route He was flip and said, "we must be out of card stock to print the gift card" When asked when it would be shipped, he said "whenver we get them in" When asked why the original confirmation said it was in stock, he had more nonsense answers The backorder notification said backordered but also said "in stock shipping soon" He couldn't explain that contradiction or what "soon" meant But worse was he had absolutely no sense of how to talk to a customer There was zero interest in the fact that the company messed up and should try to help the customer Total disrespect and condescending and just seemed annoyed to be on the phone
I've dealt with many a customer service rep in my time, but never one with such a poor attitude
I will never deal with them again

I ordered three pairs of women's chef pants from Chef Uniforms in Nov. I received an order confirmation email, followed by an email informing me that my order had shipped (11/21/13). I received it; no problem, however the pants were too large for my daughter, so I returned them as instructed on their return shipment label. On the same label, I reordered all three pants in a smaller size. Two arrived; no email or comment in any form to let me know the third pair was on back order. I called and was then told they were on back order and would ship Jan. 16, 2014. It's Jan. 30th and still nothing. I've not received an email notification or anything. Again, I called. Oh, it's on back order AGAIN until Feb. 28th! Really? No communication to notify me of this SECOND back order. I am less than happy. Next time I need to order something for my chef daughter, I will go back to Happy Chef. Much better service.
