We have already discussed this extensively with the customer.  Nothing in our description is incorrect, she assumed/hoped that the salt and pepper mills were specially gift boxed for gift giving.  They aren't.  They're in a standard retail box.We were NOT contacted by phone, or we...

As stated in the original complaint, the description for the item is misleading. It said that the 13" french skillet came with a domed lid. I have a response from All-Clad, the manufacturer of the skillet stating that it does not come with a domed lid. I bought the product because the description by the seller said it did. I sent the manufacturer All-Clad a picture and the CMMF #[redacted]. They confirmed by email that it "does not come with a dome lid. I would be happy to forward copies of my correspondence with All-Clad. My All-Clads enquiry response ref number is [redacted].

purchased the Chef's Choice Belgian Waffle Maker model 830, along with two other items.I saw signs of wear and use on the product. Scratches on the stainless steel, food residue on the waffle plates, peeling of the coating between the plates. All this was very slight hard to see with a glance. I contacted the company. The Customer service email is run by the owner. We had 19 email exchanges over the course of a week. With each the owner repeated that they haven't had a return on that particular product. I write a few exhanges in "Hello,You did not make this clear you simply kept stating that this product had not been returned before. I have given you pictures of the product where there is food residue and wear. This not what I asked for, I do not want your product. Where can I send the items back to recieve a refund? Thank you"
He writes back simply "You can’t. " We emailed a few more time with him culminating in "I have made it abundantly clear, I don’t believe we sent you a used item. It’s that simple. Whether it’s a new item that you’re confusing as used, or have a used one you wish to return against this order, I don’t know. But it’s impossible that we sent a used item in this case.We will not take it back under any circumstances, nor will I respond further to emails. Stop asking." Dont be taken in with their low prices. I also got a colander and peeler both were phenomenal. I dont even want waffles anymore.

Best price, free shipping, delivery as promised, and a perfect product. I ordered online, spoke to a real person to confirm two days later, received notice of shipment and received my order on the exact day they said I would. It couldn't have gone better.

The item sent is as-described and shown in the picture on the website.  A customer service representative confirmed the part number of the lid sent with one here and confirmed it's the domed lid.  We're certainly able to take the item back if desired if in new, unused and untested...

condition, we're just not responsible for return shipping.  We emailed return instructions.

We do offer free shipping.  What we don't offer or advertise is free shipping on returns.  Our returns policy frankly is pretty standard among our online competitors.  For a product return that we charged shipping, we don't refund our shipping cost, just the product cost.  For a...

free shipping order, if the entire order is returned we credit the order minus our actual outbound freight cost.  This is very common and even [redacted] will refund on a standard change of heart return minus some shipping costs as well. Our policy is listed on the site and has been unchanged for probably 10 years.  [redacted]Chef's Resource

The pan looks exactly as pictured.  The customer was looking at some other items with a different style of domed lid that is pronounced and apparently was hoping that the lid was more like it, not like it was pictured.  What we sent looks exactly like what is pictured on the product page.  We're happy to take the item back as mentioned but we're not responsible for return shipping on the item.

The business continues to essentially call me a liar that I spoke with someone at their company and specifically asked if this was the set of Peugeot mills that comes in the presentation box. I did!  They said unless I can prove that I called them, they don't believe me (such customer service!).  In fact, the business even acknowledged that they received an email from me with the question posed to the seller before I would place an order asking if these were 'the set in the nice Peugeot presentation box like I had purchased for my husband earlier in the year because I wanted to give them as a gift for Thanksgiving." They admit they saw my email and said I had already placed the order before they could respond to it.  I told them this should be proof that I called the company and asked the question because I did not receive an email reply, and in my email indicated I would not place the order until I had a full description. They told me this was the set in the presentation box--it wasn't.  What they sent was two individual grinders, packaged separately, one of which even had the seal broken and the mill turned around.  Someone had already opened it and it wasn't me!  Company claims they haven't had any returns of these mills.  Like another customer's review on the Revdex.com site, I simply don't believe them.  I think they sent me a pepper grinder that had been returned to them. This company treats customers horribly and sends merchandise that is not as described.

We purchased a Cuisinart electric skillet from Chef's Resource. However, it was defective, as the controller made a loud buzzing sound when heating. Chef's Resource would not accept a return because we had opened the box and turned on the skillet. Of course, we could only know it was defective by turning it on. Although we wanted a refund from Chef's Resource, they were adamant that they would not give us a refund or accept a return for an exchange. Fortunately, Cuisinart will allow us to return the skillet for an exchange. We will not be purchasing from Chef's Resource again.

Timeline: She emailed question about gift boxSaturday, November 14, 2015 3:31 PM"Does the black/white set come in that same gorgeous Peugot box that our Alaska white set came in?  Looking at this for a gift and the presentation is lovely besides being a great product"She ordered about 5 hours later.Sat Nov 14 20:09:39 PST 2015We're not in on the weekend.  She went ahead and ordered without knowing the answer to her question.  Her choice and her mistake if she had very specific demands as to how the packaging should look for a gift. The item shipped Monday before we had a chance to answer her emailed question.  Weekends are usually busier with questions so it takes 24-48 hours to answer emailed questions from the weekend.  We noticed the order had already been placed and shipped, so didn't think a reply was necessary. She claims she spoke with us about the item before the purchase.  This claim is false.  Our phone systems logs and records all calls, no call came in regarding this item.  No calls came in from her phone number or even area code either on the days she claims she called.  Just to be sure, every inbound call from Thursday and Friday was checked.  None were her.She also had mentioned perhaps speaking with a woman.  No woman was on the phones. Also, If she had spoken with us Thursday or Friday by phone as she claimed, she wouldn't have emailed the question on Saturday. Her claims are demonstrably false regarding our "misrepresentation".  We never claimed it came in a gift box online, by email or verbally.  Had she spoken to us before ordering, this issue would have been avoided.  We did nothing wrong here, the matter is closed.  This is our last response to the matter.  We'll credit her per our policies upon return receipt of the product, she is responsible for return shipping to us.

This cookware set is in fact, out of stock.  This older set was discontinued by Calphalon in 2013.  We don't have real-time links to inventory, just because you can add an item to the cart doesn't mean it's in stock.  He was telling the truth.  The website now shows it as out of...

stock and it's unorderable.
We can't price match what we don't have and our price match policy is entirely at our discretion, as mentioned on the site.

I do not make false claims. This merchant does.
I hope the Revdex.com recognizes, looks into other negative reviews about this merchant besides mine and that others see how horrible, misleading and dishonest this seller is!

Never delivered the goods. Do not communicate with customers. Website knowingly and willfully misrepresents product availability.
Ordered a bunch of high end kitchenware that their site said was in stock. TWO WEEKS later they sent me an email that it was out of stock and offered a revised ship date of 5/22 (more than 3 weeks late). Come 5/22 no shipment but website said goods were in stock. CR sent email saying it was still on backorder and would ship 5/29. When asked about in-stock status on website told me "Our site does not have the ability to show actual inventory status." Shortly before 5/29 ship date disappeared from their order status page. On 5/29 no shipment but website still proclaimed it was in stock. When asked told it'd ship "as soon as it comes in." Asked for specific status 5/30. No reply. Cancelled order.
These guys do not deliver the goods, do not communicate with their customers effectively, do not keep their promises, and knowingly misrepresent product availability on their website.
CAVEAT EMPTOR.

The complaint is that the tea kettle handle gets hot when used.  Frankly, we don't know of ANY tea kettle that when used the handle doesn't get hot.  This is not unusual at all.  We recommend using an oven mitt if the handle gets too hot with use, just like we would for any cookware...

as well. We're unable to take back this used item per our policies.  We don't take back used items and in no way is this a defective product.
