I was pressured into making a purchase for a dress and it didn't fit. I wanted to return the dress and the business was closed. I looked online to make sure that the business was open before I came, but the business was locked up tight.

Refund I would like my money back in cash or check.
The consumer purchased a dress for an event according to her which was sold at $20 less the cost price due to consumer pleading for discount. Consumer was asked to try the outfit before purchase because ALL SALES ARE FINAL which was told to the consumer and she insisted that she was sure the dress was her size . There is a huge sign by the cash register which reads "ALL SALES ARE FINAL". Some customers purchase outfit, wear to an occasion and after the occasion brings it back with excuses for a refund . Due to that the company took a stand that any outfit must be fitted before purchasing because once you purchase we cant refund. Also consumer had the dress for a week and half before calling over the phone asking for a refund. The store hours are 10 am - 8pm except when staff is on break or gone to market to buy items for the store or attending to emergency. This customer has never returned to the store to discuss this issue rather she called only once to ask for a refund and my response was "we do not refund because ALL SALES ARE FINAL".

She is lying. There was no place to try on the dress. There was no sign saying all sales were final. The dress was $80 plus, she insisted. We negotiated a price to $40, which was all I had, but no one said there was a fitting room. I only had the dress for three days. I bought it on Saturday, tried it on Sunday, and brought it back Monday. I double-checked the time she was open, but no one was there and the doors were locked. I waited for over two hours on her to show up. She pulled into the parking lot and I think she saw me in the window of another business and drove over into the next parking lot. The person she had in there barely understood what I was saying and I'm trying to figure what their sizing was. I was going to walk out and not purchase anything, but she kept insisting that I buy it.
This company has been in business for 6 years and I have always sold clothing. There is a fitting area and the "All sales are final" has always been displayed here. The complaints response are not facts. She is claiming that the person in the store barely understood her. This is a master degree holder simply because she has an assent now makes her not able to speak ? The cost of the dress was $60 plus tax and I was the one who even did the negotiation over face time . I do not have the to to go back and fort with this complainant. If she can produce my clothing in the manner it was without damage or smell and her receipt , I would refund her money back . This will be the last time I would negotiate my prices with anyone after all when you go to the stores to buy clothing you pay the price not to start negotiating with the staff working there.
