Chemung Canal Trust Company

I had communicated with one of their Trust representatives, and I believe one of their Vice Presidents, with regard to transfer of my Trusts to their bank, after I had moved to this new area. The day I was supposed to meet with this individual and was at his bank, he didn't show that afternoon. I asked the receptionist about why he wasn't there, and she called him. She gave me the phone and asked him directly, he said, "I thought you were going on a hike today." He likely decided he wasn't taking this seriously, presumably, and consciously made a belittling remark to me. I have a MS degree and have taught in the science field; he I believe as he told me, worked in construction before he was hired at Chemung Canal Trust Company. Frankly, Montour Falls, the bank's location, I had first noticed was shocking, a dingy and rundown ghost of a town, with street people. Actually, I've noticed that the funding from the Federal Gov't that has taken place there has shown improvements at the traffic intersections, that have taken much longer than one would normally expect. But one assumes that any improvement is better than none.
