Review: 1) Sales/manager asked the person that was driving the car, not owner, to okay work to be done on a vehicle. 2) Work required was not within the scope and sequence of the necessary work to be done.3) left a message (prior to work being completed) to HALT work and work continued without a phone call.4) Did not call back and discuss issue or negotiate the final cost because work was not halted.Desired Settlement: I would like at a minimum of $200 to be refunded for the total cost of the work including tax paid.

Response:

Like I said on the phone, the car was brought in for brake noise. We found that the brake pads where gone and it was metal to metal. There where grooves in the rotors so there where unable to resurface them. We informed the driver of the problem. She authorized us to fix the car by signing the repair order. The mom called the shop after hours (6:59pm) that was after the car had been finished.
