***
I have spoken with Mr ***, on *** *th, and have requested that he bring the vehicle to his local *** dealer for diagnosis on
the reason behind the TPMS light being onI have indicated to him that we will pay for the diagnostics, and once I have a reason and estimate I will either authorize the repair to be done at the *** store or request that he bring the vehicle in to our dealership to have the deficiency repaired
He is in agreement that this solution is amenable to him

In response to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint, I will first extend my apology to her for the inconvenience she has cited. I also sympathize...

with her concern over the potential risk of the mechanical service defect which was identified and about which our business was notified after the recommended repair had been performed at a third party facility, approximately six weeks after she had taken delivery of her vehicle.
Vehicles are complicated machines involving many electrical and mechanical systems which must work together in order to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. In this case, a small part was reportedly discovered to have been loose on one of the tires. This vehicle would never have passed MVI inspection if one of our technicians had seen that; these technicians are the same calibre of professional mechanics employed by most automotive dealers, including the dealership Ms. [redacted] visited to have the repair performed.
I regret to say that Auction Direct will not be reimbursing Ms. [redacted] for work which she authorized at another facility, we cannot be held accountable for work done by another business, nor can we be held responsible for a bill which we did not authorize. It is impossible for us to determine after the fact what exactly the condition was which was identified by the third party mechanic, and although Ms. [redacted] appears to feel we delivered her a vehicle in the condition requiring the repair she has since had done, we have no means now of verifying that claim.
While we will not be reimbursing her for work she has paid for at another dealership, I will extend to Ms. [redacted] an offer of a credit for future parts or repairs in our service facility in the amount she has requested reimbursement for, $**.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2015/08/25) */
I did not receive any email or letter in the mail. I do not wish to have this matter resolved.
in response to them, I took my vehicle to a [redacted] dealership. something was wrong with my car. I could not be expected to take it back to them, 3 hours away. thats ridiculous.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2015/08/31) */
We will be issuing a cheque to Ms [redacted] to cover her cost of repair at $**.**
I will request that she contact us by email at [redacted].** or by mail at [redacted]
to advise us of the address we should use to send her the reimbursement.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 18, 2015/09/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
