Sir/Madame,                                  I recently received a letter of complaint (# [redacted]) filed against my company, Cherish the Moments, LLC.. I am extremely disappointed that this complaint was made by a past event vendor. I am also appalled that Ms. [redacted] would write such a complaint. I would like to take this moment to set the record straight. On Sept. 10th, 2017. I spoke to Ms. [redacted]. She informed me of a financial situation she was going through at that time. I distinctly recall informing her that there was ?no refund? once the application was submitted and processed. Ms. [redacted] insisted on obtaining a refund, via an E-mail sent to me. I once again informed her that there would be ?no refund?. I even highlighted the part within the body of the application where this is clearly stated. *Please read the highlighted part from the actual application attached: It does state on the application that there is "No Refund". A credit will be given to vendor for another event, based on availability. Attach is the application of the event for Nov 4 and the contract in which Ms. [redacted] signed in order to be part of the event. I did offer Ms. [redacted] that she could get another representative to take her place, and have that individual pay her for the space; so she would not lose the full amount of money that she paid for the ?Holiday Showcase Craft Fair?, scheduled for Nov 4th, 2017. Although, Ms. [redacted] gave me plenty of notification through her cancelation, I did inform her that I would still hold her space. She had plenty of time to get another representative. I have never offered this accommodation to any other vendors. I sincerely tried helping Ms. [redacted], as I told her I would be willing to do this for her, so she would not lose her space, or feel that she would lose out on this event altogether. I also informed Ms. [redacted] that she could use the money for a future event; if she was unable to make it to this event. Ms. [redacted] has done several events with me in the past. I do not understand why she would write such a complaint, knowing that I did my very best to provide several alternatives for her, in lieu of a total refund. I have been in business for almost 18 years and I have never had a vendor make such an alarming and insulting complaint; let alone file a complaint through your bureau. I do not work for a school or church. My business is a private organization. I am an extremely fair and considerate business organizer to all of my business partners. For example: I would give my vendors extra space at no charge; I would also allow them to bring in extra items, without paying an additional cost for space. Ms. [redacted] has asked for such accommodations in past events, and I have been able to meet her needs.   I am so sorry that Ms. [redacted] is going through a financial difficultly at this time. However, as I stated earlier in this letter, I did offer her to do the show at another time. I did offer her to get another representative to take her space to get back her money. She still has time to take on one of these offers. With this being said, I would have to compare this same principle to purchasing a plane or a concert ticket; where the disclaimer specifically reads: ?There is "No Refund!" In my honest opinion, this complaint is a huge misunderstanding, and one made out of sheer frustration by Ms. [redacted]. Her complaint made against my company is unjust. I want to make sure that this issue is resolved in a timely manner, and that my business not be tainted or affected by such a wrong and unlawful complaint.  Again, I am willing to have Ms. [redacted] do the event or have another representative take her spot. I discuss this with my partner, and there is no refund for any event. This is what the application states.As I mention, I had other vendors wanting to do the same thing.I will give you a credit for any other event until the end of the year. This is the best that we could do for you. Things could change, you never know.I will hold your space until I hear back from you.Maybe you could get another Rep to take your place and have her pay you for the space?
