The refund is in process at our accountant's office The checks are typed and printed by that office not in house It is the middle of tax season so they are working on this as fast as they can The accountant was contacted last week twice to see if they were finished and we were advised no The patient was offered to refund to their credit card and declined

The insurance the patient has coverage through is in our system We are not participating providers (under contract) for the insurance The insurance company has a list the patient can access via the insurance company website or by calling the insurance company This list will provide the patient with contracted participating providersThe insurance company will advise the patient it is the patients responsibility to know their benefits and which providers is on the approved list Due to the fact that we are not contracted participating providers, the patient would be responsible for the entire amount of the services provided The patient was advised of this at checkin, checkout and phone calls Thank you for contacting us Pam [redacted] Pamela [redacted] Davis Eye Associates OD PA Practice Manager [redacted]

If at the the second appointment the contacts were discussed, the prescription was not finalized by the physician The prescription was finalized on 5/9/and a message left via phone on that day The office is closed until Wednesday 5/at which time you can pickup the prescription
