Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: first of all my wife has a good work ethic with the store manager so *** does not know what conversation he had with my wife on her harassing her at work, never assume When they were painting the inside of the house my wife mentioned that we were going to buy new furniture and kris mentioned he would like to buy it from us for his sister and to let him knowI sent an email message to *** and she responds with informing me that we still owed them 200$ and that they would take the furniture plus 50$ to pay the balance due this was the first I had heard about the 200$ When I paid kris gave him a check I crossed off 200$ and I mentioned to him that we had already paid them a lot of money and he Agreed with that, but what really amazes me is that *** mentioned that I agreed to pay the amount of the repair when kris showed me the wood rot I asked him how much more was this going to cost me and before I let him answer I told him I would give him 1000$ and no more I am not a contractor so I should of had some other opinions but he took advantage of the whole situation They did not paint behind the toilets, porch has smears where they just wiped itOn the last day I had to remind kris that he needed to finish the master bathroom he rushed through and the paint from the wall is on the ceiling We had some friends come over to help us put everything back (pictures on wall etc) and they brought this to our attention.so it is very noticeable I Know many contractors and they have been to my house and saw the work that was done and asked us how much did we pay and we tell them and they said that we got taken to the cleaners by cherry city painting they can't believe that the amount of money we paid them that they did not paint the closets These contractors buy and turn houses and will not use cherry city paintingThey are the ones that recommended that I take pictures so I did She sent me an email threatening to take legal action and plus call on the deadline of money owed to my wife's employer making sure it was going to get paid if this isn't harassment then call me ignorant *** is very unprofessional and her husband does not tell her the truth on what he agreed on If you need to see pictures will be posted on Facebook along with threatening email with legal actionSo you can consider this case closed I have several friends that will not use them they love the colors we chose but the quality of the work for the amount of money we paid they will not even consider using them from what they saw and how they overcharged us and they do not do quality work, took them a week and a half to paint the outside do not have very many employees working for them, call in sick so customer has to suffer for taking so long Plus they start late still painting during your dinner time and they are constantly on there cell phones we gave them full access to our house left a t shirt behind food on the porch Kris had said if we found anything that needed touch up he would come back and take care of, he knew we were getting a new front door and he said he would take care of re painting around the frame but I guess he didn't let his wife know about that either Plus hrs people to paint the master bedroom closet and bathroom and still did not finishOur neighbors around the corner had there house painted only took them daysHe is not a trust worthy personBut that is ok I feel good about this because I have contractors that will not use them I wish them the very best When we close on our next house I will not be using this coI learned my lesson by a bad experience.Sincerely,*** ***

We received notice about the complaint filed against us by Mr & Mrs. [redacted] and would like to correct their complaint. The customer's were referred to us by Home Depot's Red Beacon program which helps customer connect with contractors for jobs they...

are needing done. Upon completing our work for the [redacted], they gave us a great review on the Red Beacon's website. A copy of this review is attached. It wasn't until I notified them that they had a balance past due that they became unsatisfied with our work and they thought that they over paid for our services when in fact Mr. [redacted] had offered to pay us the price that was agreed upon before we had the chance to give them our written estimate. I then had to proceed by sending them a demand letter for payment or we would be taking legal actions against them. After which Mrs. [redacted] (whom is an employee of Home Depot) made false work orders through the [redacted] program requesting our company for services needed. I called her manager Brian at Home Depot to let him know that she was making false job requests and that our company has to pay for each job lead we receive and that I felt she was misusing the Red Beacon system as a representative of [redacted]. Her boss then reprimanded her for her actions which led her husband to call our business repeatedly and leave threatening voicemail messages. I then notified the police of his behavior and was told I needed to notify them not to contact us anymore or we would be filing a formal complaint with the police department for harassment. I did notify them by email to not contact us again. I never once called his wife at her work and was in no way harassing either of them. I had to block their email and their phone number so that they would not be able to contact us. All of this can be verified by her manager at [redacted] (Brian [redacted]) as he acted as
a third party in trying to settle this dispute and get us the money that we were owed. We stand behind our quality of work 100% and were not notified by the [redacted] that anything was missed or needed touching up until months after the completion of the job and only after I reported Mrs [redacted] work misconduct. Our job was completed in May of 2015 and it makes no sense that the would leave us a great review if they weren't satisfied with our work. We feel that we did everything to make them satisfied and that they are
only reporting us because of a misunderstanding of the reason behind contacting her employer. It was not to get her in trouble or a form of harassment but simply to recover the money we paid for the job lead she sent using the Red Beacon system to request work which she had no intentions of needing. They also said they would be providing us pictures of what they were wanting fixed and as of to date they have not done so. We would have been happy to go back and fix anything that was missed but because ofMr [redacted]'s threatening voicemails, we believe it is best for our safety that we have no further contact with them.

Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions.
Thank you!
