We are apologetic the patient feels deceived regarding the services and charges This is never out intention and we try very hard to be up front with all patients regarding charges We have a signed treatment plan by the patient that they understood the charges from our office of $
One of the procedures which is the biopsy we explained to the patient would be send off to determine what exactly was found to determine is any additional treatment would be needed The additional charges the patient is referring to is not from us but from the pathologist This is comparable to when patients get blood draws at their doctors office and receive a bill from both the doctor for the draw and the lab for the blood test The pathologist fee's vary depending on how many slides/tests they need to do to determine their Diagnosis - we are unable to determine what that will be in advance

I am rejecting this response because: There was no pathologist report ever provided to ***All was an invoice saying no cancerThe invoice did not even list any medical certificationsYes we paid the $but did not knowingly authorize any additional work*** blood work as had blood draws and workup from *** *** including PSAYes we were informed materials would be sent out but not whereWe were but not informed that their may be added costs without our approvalI have to say I would rate the professional service performed by ** *** were superior and other than not be pleased with sending out and his practice authorizing without our knowledge or consultation services we would have refused. It concerns me as former business person the practice in medical field of not informing or consulting their client of what the practitioner feels may be necessary serviceI have still a very positive personal opinion of ** *** and am very disturbed this has happened and hope can be resolved before legal spins out our control. I would send $to ** *** practice to settle this.

Then a month or two later get bill from Dental Accounting Office saying you owe additional charges for the services you felt had paid in full My wife *** went for dental servicesCherry Creek Oral Maxillofacial SurgeryWe paid $extraction and additional $for BiopsyStatement shows all charges paid in fullAfter this there were separate visitsAt no time in those meeting were any additional charges mentionedThen couple months later receive bill from *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** We paid in full for biopsy.*** claiming we owe $It seems if billing amount error by Cherry Creek should have notified usI am 1/blind walk into signs no way would I travel or seek services out of state I call fake bill sort of like fake news If additional tests were required should not we had option to approve or deny performance of services? Yes we were informed materials would be sent out but not where. We were but not informed that their may be added costs without our approval.
