***To Whom It May Concern: Our office contacted your insurance company and spoke with *** to verify that when *** contacted them initially that in fact they processed your claims under the incorrect policyWe also asked who was responsible to update
your policy informationThey stated your insurance is your responsibility as we would not be privy to policy changes, information and could not update information for policy holdersThey also stated you did not contact them until 7/7/to update your policyIf your policy benefits changed in July we would not have been able to receive a pre=authorizat ion until after insurance received updated informationOnce information was updated your insurance company sent *** a preauthorization for servicesOur office as a courtesy will bill insurance companies for our patientsWhen given incorrect information from either patient or insurance company it only causes delays If you have any questions you may contact ***y at Blue Cross of Idaho,*** ext ***, please use reference # ***
