Purchased Cherryal item "Periodic Table with Real Elements" on July 5th, 2020. Item arrived Aug 1st, 2020. However, item that came only included 2-dimensional pictures of elements, not real elements. I wish there was a way I could attach pictures in this complaint so that I could show the advertised item vs. the item I received. The advertised item indicated "83 real element samples" and clearly showed real, 3-dimensional, materials encased within acrylic.
Requested customer assistance by going through Cherryal.com "Contact Us" website link on Aug 1, and e-mailed Cherryal at support.cherryal.com on Aug 6th. I don't know if they shipped me the wrong item or if this was just false advertising, but I have not received a response of any kind from Cherryal. I paid approximately $60 for this item. My order # was ***.

I ordered a periodic table of elements advertised by Cherryal on social media as well as their website. It had actual samples of many of the elements embedded in an acrylic-like block that constituted the table. I collect interesting rocks and minerals and I was excited to add this piece to my collection. When the item arrived, I opened it and was disappointed to see that I had been shipped something very different. There were no samples of elements embedded in this table, the table had small pictures of what some elements would look like, different font and graphics as well. I have screenshots of what was advertised versus what I received and sent them to *** asking for my money back (I have screenshots as well of the 30 day, hassle free, money back guarantee that specifies Cherryal does NOT require return of any incorrect items that they advertise on their website) and was told I would first have to ship the item back to where it originated (in this case, China) before I would get a refund. I emailed again to say this was unacceptable and have still received no refund to date.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, although I truly believe their business practices and responses to me were dishonest and disreputable. I am willing to consider this matter resolved, but would never trust using their company again for purchasing items advertised. If you are interested in following up on their practices further, I believe review of the emails exchanged between myself and their customer service team will highlight their misleading (even blatantly deceitful) treatment of customers.
