These people are the absolute worst, I have wait hours for a cab that is initially supposed to arrive in 20 minutes so I can get to where I need to go. I am also always sharing a cab with someone which takes even longer so on top of my wait I have to wait for another customer? These people admit to ignoring shorter runs to take bigger ones. This company needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY. They also will over charge you if you dont know what the fare should cost as I have been overcharge plenty of times since 2015 until one employee let me know what I should actually be getting charged. How is that possible? Because these con artists have NO METERS. I will gladly take my money and business elsewhere.

Review: The drivers smoke inside the cabs, even when people are taking the cab. On more then one occasion the driver feels the need to light up and smoke while driving with passengers. They also do not use meters. They randomly decide what the fees are for travel and have no consistency. One day you may pay $18 to go somewhere then the next it is $24 to go to the same location. They are a sketchy business and I do not know if what they do is legal. There are no rates for fare posted anywhere on or in the cab, so they just randomly decide how much they want to charge you after the fact. Often I have been told that the trip will be one cost, but then they say a much higher price upon arrival. With no meter being used there is no way to even know the true value of the fare. I do not know if this is even legal or not. Every other city I lived in required fares to be boldly posted in view so a rider could know the cost of their trip. It is a scam to gauge money out of people. Their was once they told me they accept credit cards, then upon arrival said cash only and charged me to drive to an ATM in order to get cash to pay them, they then charged me twice the quoted rate and made the claim that their was a waiting fee while at the ATM. They need to be investigated on their practices. I do not imagine what they are doing can even be legal.Desired Settlement: For this company to be investigated. What they are doing can't possibly be legal.

Review: I was told they would be 15-20 minutes, I called again, after 43 mintues, so what if I asked was he stopping to have conjugal visits with his girl-friend ; the point is, I use them constantly, they are sometimes on time, but it's 86 degress out side ; I'm 54 years old, asmatic, suffer from P.T.S.A., and I am Bi-polar ; and this is my only mode of transportation ; chesapeake cab, inc., is notoriously slack ; he yelled at me, and kept yelling at me like a little-baby ; I told him that I was sorry and would he please pick me up, he kept haning up and finally left a 54 year old man, not well to walk 1.8 miles home in scorching hot weather . I am not furious, but this is too much, and should be reported not only to you, but to the Office of Aging, as I am legally a Senior-Citizen, and I am a military veteran, yes as well as not in good health, I think that I have been very patient with Chesapeake Cab, Inc., far too long, they have the worst business reviews in this part of Southern Maryland.

Firstly, I need their business, and I expect to get it ; secondly, I need them to at least have enough sense to answer the phone, not just block me out, and stop answering the phone because he has been put on notice, about being very late ; he yelled at me, the entire conversation, shouting that he was not 43 minutes late, but let's face it ; I have a telephone, with a clock on it, so how could I be wrong.Desired Settlement: They will contact me, apologize for yelling at me, except my apology is they have the sense to do so, take my calls and my business, and try to do a better job of informing customers of the REAL time that they expect to take in order to pick up a waiting passenger, who deserves better leadership from a company that is taking my money.
