My significant other and I had to leave this establishment early because he is active duty and dry docked here. He told the company about the possibility of leaving early prior to making an extension and the person he spoke to told us that it's not an issue, that we would be able to get our prorated refund of *** out of the *** spent, just that he has to wait 7-15 business days. We left on Jan 18 because we were supposed to be leaving for his duty station by the end of the month and I didn't feel comfortable being parked next to a convict. My boyfriend has called them countless times but they either don't pick up or string him along saying to wait a couple more days to receive a refund. Today he was able to go over there during work hours because he was in the area and the person he spoke to gave him the owners number, but I doubt that it we be of any help. I'm extremely upset that they took advantage of us, knowing that at any moment we must leave to his duty station.

Refund All I ask is for the refunded amount they promised us.
From my research it appears that you left on Jan 18th as you stated, which means that you stayed 28 nights out of the 30 nights that you paid for. At the most you would be due a 2 night refund, but as this is a discounted rate already, you would only have received a refund if you had stayed less time than a non-discounted rate would cover. Also our records show that you had actually checked in on Dec 1, 2019 and paid at that time for 3 weeks by the weekly rate of *** per week for a total of *** which included the deposit you made when you made your reservation. Your receipt shows that you paid on December 21st, when those 3 weeks were up. So the non-discounted rate from that date would have been *** which is 28 days at the daily rate of *** per day. Based on this, you would not receive a refund from the company.
As to the complaint of you being parked next to a convict, I have absolutely no idea whom you are talking about. And would have no idea as we do not background check campers when they check in as you should be aware as we did not background check you.
In addition, I cannot find any member of our staff who stated they had talked to your significant other about a refund or given you any idea of what a refund would have been if one were to be given. Any time refunds are given, they are given when the camper actually checks out and not "7 - 15 business days" later.
I am sorry if you are upset, but I can see no basis for your request.
