June 20, 2014Dear Sir:I am responding to your letter about the sale of a home to [redacted]. Enclosed is a copy of her sales agreement showing exactly what she was purchasing. It was filled out before she signed and it shows make, model, serial number and year. I never said she was getting a central a/c. She signed this agreement Dec. 19, 2014 and did the final sale on Feb. 12, 2015.I did not do a walk thru with her but my service man did and she pointed out to him what she wanted fixed and asked him to do some side work for her. Once her shed was put in which was built by an amish man on sight, she asked if he could install electric in it. I do not know what all she contracted him to do but he did do the walk thru with her.The man that puts in our ac's is [redacted]. His address is [redacted]., Grantville, Pa. [redacted]. His phone number is ###-###-####. He would be happy to tell you what was discussed between him and **. [redacted].If you have any further questions please call ###-###-####.Sincerely,CHESAPEAKE HOME SALES, INC.Brenda H.Manager

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: there was never a walk thru done I never signed any papers tgat eveeythibg was aatisfactory. I was just given a key and told to go look. I vrought a few things to their attention and was never told I had a 30 say window for them to come fix itens  when the air conditiiibg came up and thet quoted ne a price I did say I wanted cenrral air but tgey wanted paid in full before work was done. I did speak to their gyy that puts their ac in abd ge told me I mustve gotten iverlooked because all their new places get central aur put in them. I told him they wanted paid in full before wirk was ecen done and his response was that was ridiculous. He said 25% down and valace upon completion  then I never heard from anyone and I did not go to office as I was not paying upfront I paid up front for my shed and it took them 4 months.  There is a law in place that states any job over 1000.00 you can only ask for one third down. My whole issue is that after I decided I was buying it there was no walk thru checklist done and it.  As for signed paperwork, Rhonda Heffner from corporate office said there are papers signed by  only signed by the Chesapeake representative that my signature is not on the papers upon moving in the frig didbt work and they told me to call the manufacturer. Upon doibg this, the serial #s did not match abd Chesape did replace the frig I think the ac was an oversite as it was winter time and then never came to install it. Also I was told it was a brand new home, never lived in. The never lived in part was true but my home is a 2011 not a 2015 and stated it us brand new since never lived in but as far as warranty on appliances and my insurance company it is 4 years old not brand new.  I continued with purchase as it was never lived in, I liked the home and gave them a sizeable deposit I was not going to loose that.  So since not knowing what air conditioning cost I had a few local companies come out and give me an estimate. Tgey came in at a lower price than Chesapeake was going to instal it for so I went with another company so at this point the resolution would be is for them to reimburse me for having to go through all the trouble of having to outsource so I didnt sit all summer without air conditioning  so my wrap up is they didnt do thibgs right from beginning by doing a walk thru. Then tge home being 2011 not 2015 so I would like reimbursed for the air conditioning or a compromise on the cost agreed upon
