On November 2015, Chesapeake Roofing, Windows & Siding, Incinstalled a new roof on my 2-story townhome I was home all day long and was outside taking pictures at various times during the day The only interaction with the workers was at the end of the day when someone came to pick up the debris trailer There were no managers, no one, who spoke with me at all about the work being done The company left a sign in front of my house and emailed me a bill, which I paid I followed up with an email message stating that I expected someone to come to my house to inspect the work that was done; expected someone to take pictures to show me the work that was done; remove a piece of roofing/paper stuck in the top of one of my second floor windows; and to retrieve the sign that I had now moved to the back of my home Kurt [redacted] called me to say that all those things would be done The sign disappeard from the back of my home - but nothing else was done Earlier this spring, I called the company about a concern I had with the apperance of the ridge vent Eventually [redacted] returned my call and stated someone would come out to talk to me about my concern and check out the ridge vent No one has come Although I was originally pleased with the efficiency of the work crew that replaced not only my roof, but the adjoining townhouse's roof, all on one day; I am now concerned with the expressed warranties stated by the company in the contract I am also concerned there was no management-level follow up to ensure the right work was done, to prove to the consumer the work was done right, and to ensure all loose ends were tied up
