I left my English Bulldog for elective TPLO surgery 5/20/@ 7:amAt 8:am he was premeditated for surgery, despite the surgery not taking place until the afternoonThe medications were Morphine, ACE, and atropine.(max doses) He was observed in his cage at 11am, am and at 1pm another vet tech, NOT responsible for his care looked into his cage and found him unresponsive and listlessObservations included notes of "sleeping" each time hours apart were documentedIn an ICU setting where he was placed, and after sedation , there was NO mention of any vital signs, to include Temperature, Pulse,Respiratory status, CRT,or MMCPR was attempted but unsuccessfulHe died unnecessarily due to gross negligence and lack of monitoring from the staff Records received later showed falsification of documentationPlease don't let this happen to your beloved petChoose a hospital facility where your pet will be monitored properly

I left my English Bulldog for elective TPLO surgery 5/20/15 @ 7:50 am. At 8:30 am he was premeditated for surgery, despite the surgery not taking place until the afternoon. The 3 medications were Morphine, ACE, and atropine.(max doses). He was observed in his cage at 11am, 12 am and at 1pm another vet tech, NOT responsible for his care looked into his cage and found him unresponsive and listless. Observations included notes of "sleeping" each time 2 hours apart were documented. In an ICU setting where he was placed, and after sedation , there was NO mention of any vital signs, to include Temperature, Pulse,Respiratory status, CRT,or MM. CPR was attempted but unsuccessful. He died unnecessarily due to gross negligence and lack of monitoring from the staff. Records received later showed falsification of documentation. Please don't let this happen to your beloved pet. Choose a hospital facility where your pet will be monitored properly.
