Complaint [redacted] In reference to the complaint filed against our company on 12/21/from [redacted] ***, I would like to share the information I haveMr [redacted] stated in his complaint that the motor he purchased from us had been installed by ***'s Auto Repair and that while installing they found the valves were bad and that he had them replaced at the cost of $He did call our company to report that he suspected the valves were bad, we then called the shop that installed it and were told that they didn't know anything about that, and that it ran good when it left there We then called Mr [redacted] back and told him what shop had told us, he said that he was driving and would call back, he never did We never heard from Mr [redacted] again until we called him after receiving the complaint on 1/17/ Also stated in the complaint was a claim that the head gaskets were bad and that the repair cost on that was $ That made us a little suspicious because the head gaskets have to be replaced when replacing the valves We called the shop back on 1/19/and were told that they never did valves and knew nothing about that, and that it ran good when it left there but Mr [redacted] brought it back a couple weeks later because it was getting hot and leaking water so they put a thermostat, water pump, and radiator in itMr [redacted] was still having problems so they told him that the head gaskets could be bad but they were not interested in doing that work We then called Mr [redacted] back but he did not answerOn 1/29/we spoke with Mr [redacted] and asked him for the receipt from the shop that did the valve work and he told us that he never had it done We then told him to get an estimate on repairs needed and send it to us He started yelling and said that he would see us in court, and hung up Today Mr*** called and said that he got an estimate and would send it in When we received it we saw it was from the same shop so I called them and they told me to call back at 3pmI called back and they told me to call back in another hour I will continue to try to reach them and let you know what I find outI have attached a copy of our warranty information, which shows the conditions and extent of our warranty, and is on the back side of our invoicesI would also like to note that since this complaint has been filed there have been anonymous negative Craig's list and face book posts made about our company We have been in business for over years and would not still be here if we did not provide good service to our customers

Just wanted to let you know that we offered to refund the motor upon return, but Mr*** requested that we pay half of head repair instead. Mr*** is going to furnish us with an estimate for the work and we will send payment
