In response to complaint [redacted]
I would admit that the customer was not followed up with and that our ex-employee should have made greater attempts to find out what the customer's disgruntlements were.  The first time I was made aware of the situation was when the customer came in...

asking why he did not get a new bumper replaced on hhis [redacted].  One of my adjusters went over the estimate and work order with him, explaining that he was not charged for a rear bumper only a remove and re-install of the original for .6 labor hours.  He continued to say he had paid for a new bumper when the adjuster continued to show him that he had not (15 minutes of time elapsed).  I requested that the customer come to my cubicle, as I am the owner of the business.  I continued to explain that in fact he had not paid for the bumper and he acted as if he could not understand (he works for chemical plant and has purchased a home so I know he should be able to understand a simple estimate with no significant parts listed).I told him, when he continued to press the point, saying he wanted a bumper, that was when I said that he apparently wanted something without paying for it...
Later, I had my adjuster call him to offer the bumper to him at no cost to him, because the customer had been through so much with our ex-employee, to which he said NO and that he had already turned us in to the Revdex.com.

Review: Brought my [redacted] to the shop to have some damage on the truck bed repaired. Got an estimate for work to be completed and time frame for work to be done. I was told it would take 1 week. I took the truck in on the last day of November. Truck was not done in a week or 2 weeks, I had to wait until January 4th to pick the truck up and all the work was still not completed. The work that was done was sub-par to say the least. I was told to bring the truck back to have the work completed, which I did. After a week I stopped buy the shop to see what progress was made. They had done nothing and said it would be another week before they could get to it. I paid for the job and I took the truck and told them to call me when they could get it in. They never intended to complete the work. I called the shop 3 weeks later to ask about the work to be done and was told the employee I had dealt with no longer worked there. I brought my receipt to the body shop to show that I had payed for the work and was told I had been undercharged. They said they would not do any of the incomplete work without charging me more. I explained to the owner what I was told by his employee that they would complete the work when I brought the truck back but he accused me of trying to "get something for nothing". Very, very poor business practice.Desired Settlement: To let other potential customers know what they are getting into by going to this body shop.
