Review: Business: Chester County Eye Care Associates - following as 'CCEC' ..Period roughly over past 3 years 1. For eye care I was initially billed monthly by CCEC and responded with payment immediately, but CCEC billing statement invoices never showed payment? Wrote month after month to get indication paid - but only received billing statement. Never received line indication billed paid. 2. Continued receiving billing statement and writing to CCEC re no indication of my payments received, but no other communication from CCEC. Eventually I stopped payment waiting to get response - nothing but bills from CCEC. Tried to get CCEC email address(s) - CCEC would not provide them. CCEC turned over situation to collection company. 3. I then discussed situation with Dr [redacted] of CCEC. She spoke with CCEC finance, and finally I got a phone call from finance of eye organization - this took many months. 4. Payment plan to CCEC set up ($150.00 per month). In response to CCEC monthly bill, I sent a check each month to CCEC for 19 months (totaling $2,850.00). But CCEC bill still does not show any patient payments(s)!!!!5. Changed eye care organization 10/13 and immediately learned that out of pocket cost of eye injection drug can be reimbursed (via The Chronic Disease Fund) After insurances out of pocket for each injection billed to me at over $400.00)!. CCEC billed roughly $3,400.00 to me out of pocket for injections alone!- (Total costs billed by CCEC to Medicare and United Health Care for eye care was well over $35,000,00. This was simply injections and exams. Other than eye injections there was no surgery). 6. Recently (12/13) wrote to CCEC and included copies of documentation used for eye injection reimbursement. Questioned CCEC why option was never made available to me. Only response was non explanatory phone voice mail messages from CCEC, and on going bills (US Mail).7. Copies of CCEC billing and documentation for injection reimbursement would gladly be provided upon request. Respectively, [redacted] PS If after fair review it is learned that CCEC will not forgo remaining debt, I will agree to pay off the debt (approx $1,000.00) over time as I have done for the past 19 months.Desired Settlement: Cancellation of any debt and halting of phone messages and bills to my home
