Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The ***, *** ** ***, has not been truthful or honest about the entire business transaction that took place. I never met with *** for an initial consultation, I only with her *** ***. The agreed upon amount was never $3,100.00, because I made it perfectly clear that my budget was around $2,and that was where I needed to stay
*** *** has refused to accept responsibility for her unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. She has had so much negative publicity and feedback that another local florist had to move her business out of Chester just so she wouldn't be mistakening confused with The Chester Greenery.
If *** feels justified in keeping my $deposit, then let her keep it. If she won't refund $100.00, to resolve this situation and avoid more bad publicity then that just goes to show you what a poor business person she really is. However, that $100.00 will ultimately cost her thousands of dollars. My family and I, as well as the town of Chester where her business is located, will never ever do business with her again. We will tell everyone we know to stay away from her because, just like one of her many negative reviews says, " YOU PAY FOR ROSES AND YOU GET CARNATIONS". CONSUMERS BEWARE !!!

Review: I gave Chester Greenery & Gifts a $100.00 deposit to provide floral arrangements for my daughter's wedding, which took place on Saturday September **, 2014. The agreement was that I would contact the florist two weeks prior to the wedding date with the exact number of table center pieces needed, which was contingent upon the number of guests that were attending, and to also pay the balance due on the flowers. On Saturday - August **, 2014, exactly two weeks prior to my daughter's wedding, I called the [redacted], to let her know that I would need only 8 table center pieces and not 10 table center pieces. I was treated rudely, disrespectfully and extrememly unprofessionally by this woman. She said, and I quote, "Get your [redacted] down here and pay your balance due or I won't be doing your daughter's wedding. I really don't care one way or another and I don't give a [redacted]. I have alot going on in my life right now and I don't want to be harassed by you. My house was robbed, my cat died, and I got my [redacted] after 55 years old." I was absolutely shocked by her unprofessional behavior and emotional instability. I could no longer trust her ability to provide quality services for such an important event in my families life, therefore I had to hire an alternate florist.Desired Settlement: I would like my $100.00 deposit returned to me: [redacted]

At our initial consultation, six months before the wedding, I explained our policy that we required a $100 NONREFUNDABLE deposit and FULL PAYMENT due two weeks before the wedding. All parties were in agreement with an estimate of $3,000.00. Shortly thereafter, [redacted] called numerous times trying to "barter" recycled vases with us to reduce the cost, then she wanted to buy all the "high" glass vases for the table centerpieces. I explained that in order to achieve the proper look she wanted for the centerpieces, I needed to work with our vendors. She called one month before the wedding to go over the bill and stated that the cost was too high. I tried to accommodate her by lowering the bridal bouquet price by $100.00 and waiving the delivery charge, unfortunately, this was not enough. We finally agreed to lower the final cost to $2,100.00 which w as to be paid by 8/**/14. She called me on 9/*/14 (past the deadline, after the flowers and hard good have been ordered) and demanded that I deduct two centerpieces for a total of $225.00. I explained that it was too late to make adjustments as the hard goods and flowers have already been ordered from the vendors. Much to my astonishment, she repeatedly harassed my employees, stating that we were going to have "a big problem". She actually came to my shop and "stalked" my employees demanding to talk to me. She called my home at 8:00pm and proceeded to tell me all of her personal issues and problems and I told her to come to my shop on the next day with the final payment, or else we will not be able to do the wedding. Unfortunately, [redacted] is a very emotional and instable individual and extremely unreasonable to deal with. she never came in and decided to go elsewhere. I am truly sorry that we were unable to come to terms, but she did not live up to the original agreement and I refuse to accept her harassment.
