March 22, 2016Re: ID# *** (***) vsChester’s Watch Service Dear Ms***,Thank you, again, the opportunity to respond to this complaintIt is stated in your correspondence of 3/15/2016, that the complaint was submitted to you by *** ***I have no written service record for this customer but her summary sparked my memory of this customerI must say my recollection of our encounter seems to be better than hers, She apparently has left out the first part of her visit to my store last summer; That being the part where she brought in a clock for me to fixThere is no service ticket to support this as I did not check the clock in for serviceRather, Instead I spent minutes at my counter fixing her clock AT NO CHARGE. I have no service record indicating I replaced the crystalI do recall replacing the pin in a watch she pulled out of her purse after I replaced the battery in her clock and put it back together(It was disassembled and she had no idea how to get it back togetherI would have at least expected a “thank you” after fixing her clock but instead she pulled a watch out of her purse and asked me to replace a faulty pin in this watchI also did this at no chargeShe came back months later explaining the pin I put in must have come loose and the watch fell and broke the crystalMs*** appears to be one of those people. She is correct that I amazingly asked, “And you think this my my fault?”She loudly and vocally insisted it was… the the amazement of customers I had seated waiting for serviceI told her since the watch was over yrs old, base metal bezels pin holes can tend to bugger (enlargen) and it was probably time to get a new watchShe insisted it was my fault and I was to either fix it (again at no charge) to re-imburse her for a crystal. I guess it was my fault… for doing the previous work at no chargeSo now she expects everything free. Her mind was made up it was my fault and I should fix it freeMine was made up that there is no warranty on a pin that was replaced as I have no idea how she broke the crystalI asked her to find someone else to fix it and leave the store as I did have two other customers waiting. Some people expect something for nothing. As far as I am concerned, our book is closed on this issueWe do agree on one thing… that there is no need for her to “step foot in this establishment again.” Please feel free to contact me with any additional information you require to close this case in favor Chester’s Watch Service.Sincerely yours,Chester C***Owner

I have been taking My watches to Chesters since he has Repaired no less then watches
for Me this Rolex Tudor Oyster was watch # -I also purchased a Benrus Watch from him I always
Paid In cash, he has Never once given Me a receipt! ,He only gives out little Numbered CLAIM Tickets That U see at a ‘Fair’ To ride on THE RIDES type of Tickets- He Never Charged Me ANY Taxes !
When U claim Your WATCH he takes back The TICKET, Never To be seen Again, And Your left with Your Watch
And Nothinig else!!! Nothing ! u have NOTHING to prove you were even at his Shop!!!!Or What He has REPAIRED,I Took My 1963 Rolex Not a 30-s-1940s Watch Like Chester Claims ( no wonder he couldn't find the right crystal…).Tudor watch in the First Time, the first Week in
Oct I was Given the first ticket for this Watch it was in Perfect Working Order and was missing the Watch Crystal Only! I picked it Up in Aug and Paid Him for the Service at that Time when I got Home the Bezal around The crystal Just fell off, I took the Watch Back in Sept 4 Of and told him what had happened and he said “and this is my fault?” I said Yes I paid You to Fix It!So This Was A RETURN and he wrote up another ticket #*** For The RUNNING Watch!Well Another months went by I called or stopped in every Month or Me or my Wife would call or stop in on the way to lunch But he Just made excuses, im sick !!, I have dentist App., My wife is ill ect…..at ANY time he could have Siad I cant Fix it but he assured me and my wife He could, he cut his hours and would not even pick up his phone at 1:15pm on a Satwell I ran out of patience in March NO More Excuses I Demanded My Watch back and he Stalled , And Screamed,And Hung up on me , I called him Back and I told him I Would call the Police if I needed (he must have called them after that)
! Well then a half hour later the *** Police officer called me and told me he would drop my Watch himself , for me or I could pick it up the next day in which I did.In all the years doing Business with Chester He NEVER has Called Me Back Once !!Not at All- NOT Once!- For Any Reason at all- NEVER!He Needs To Retire when I picked up My Watch It No Longer Worked!!! Its Busted Up- Broken Crystal,it looks like he Threw it In Anger or Dropped this Rolex Watch !And Im out The Original Bucks I Paid him Originally on the first Ticket in Aug when I picked it up the first time- I Plan to Settle this in Court-Regards
Also Chesters Watch Service, Has An Obligation To his Customers to Whom He Charges Money, To
Let Them know if His Hours Change, or if he is Unable to Fulfill His Original Obligations/Contract of Repairing Said Watch,
And to Use at least Use Ordinary Care Of Siad Property, That he has ACCEPTED For Repair-That Is in his Shop ,And if He Couldn't Find the Parts
Then He Had at least months to Call me or Tell/Update me!- And Did NOT!-And FurthermoreThe Damage to This Rolex Tudor Oysterdate Now Exceeds in Which Was Damaged, When it Was in Chester C***’s Possession ,at his Shop Located In The City Of ***.-Regards ,
