This is a HORRIBLE daycare full of child neglect. I had a horrible experience putting my daughter there. She started there when she was 6 months old and I removed her within 8 weeks at 8 months old. The teachers in the infant rooms are beyond LAZY!! They also make very offensive and judgmental comments to parents about their kids. My daughter was often left alone sobbing. Not crying but sobbing!!! My daughter is a happy baby. When she sobs there is something wrong with her. They told me it's because she's fussy and an only child so she wants more attention. How dare they? Who are they to ignore an infant who's sobbing. There were a few times I walked in and this was occurring. I watched them completely ignore her as they themselves chatted away. They cared more about socializing than childcare. I had seen this multiple times with other infants too. It's inexcusable. One day I walked in and my daughter was sobbing on the floor. One of the teachers had the music blasting completely ignoring my daughter and didn't even acknowledge when I walked in. When I asked her why she's crying her response was "She didn't like it when I put her down. She's fussy." My daughter was not fussing. She was sobbing. And how can you hear anything with the blasting music. Then one day I got a call that my daughter had fallen out of a high chair. How does an 8 month old fall out of a high chair if she's secured in??? And if she's being unbelted then an adult better be next to her. I was told the other children pushed h r out. Then one day when I was dropping my daughter off I ended up giving her a bottle. I was holding the bottle for her and one of the teachers said "Oh no girlfriend. You need to learn to hold your own bottle. We have an influx of smaller babies and you need to do your own work." This was being said to 7 month old right in front of her mother. How dare they? My daughter is an infant. They need to get their lazy butts up and feed her. She is too small to hold a bottle. Most days when I picked her up, her clothes were soaked with formula and they would write on her progress note that she drank the entire contents of her bottle. That was a blatant LIE. Most of the time her pant were soaking with formula. One day I walked in and she was sitting in a chair with her bottle upside down. I went to pick her up and her teacher ran and took the bottle from her. I asked her how much did she drink and she told me 4 ounces which again was a LIE because I saw the bottle contents before she dumped it out. They also warmed up her solid foods which I told them they did not need to do. They should feed it to her at room temperature. They never listened. The last thing that occurred that put me over the edge was a severe diaper rash that turned into a diaper burn. I walked in to pick her up and heard her crying from down the hall. I saw the teacher changing her and after she was done she told her "Why are you crying like that? I just changed your bootie?" I took her home and opened her diaper and she had a severe severe severe, raw, red, diaper rash. Her vagina, buttock, and inner thighs were so red with white patches on them it hurt me just to look at it. She would close her legs and cry hysterically every time I went to change her. My heart hurt. I took her to the pediatrician twice to make sure it was just a bad rash and nothing more. The pediatrician said this is the result of not being changed in time. That she sat in her diaper full of urine and feces prior to being changed. Not only was this horrible rash ignored but nothing was ever said to me about it and the morning when I dropped her off she did not have a rash. They always wrote in her progress note that they changed her every 2 hours which again is a LIE. I spoke to the principal and assistant principal multiple multiple times about all of these issues. They reassured me that it was addressed. However nothing changed except the teachers had more of an attitude with me when I went to drop or pick up my daughter. It started to make me think what did they do to my daughter? The teachers have minimal interpersonal skills but lots of attitude. The place smelled like urine on most days when I walked in. This is a very neglectful and abusive daycare. I don't know if other parents know what's going on there. Please do not enroll your child there. These people are not professionals. They have no clue what child care is.

*** *** and his wife and children came to look at a Honda Civic LX that I had for sale on 12-14-He looked the civic over and was very interested in the civicI spent about an hour ormore with them*** asked me to jack up the car so he could look at the underside and I
obliged. Well he was he looked under the civic he noticed some residual oil on the oil pan that had been left overfrom a recent oil changeThe oil filter is above the spot where the residual oil was found and when you remove the oil filter there is always oil that runs down the back side of the engine from the old oil filter. The oil was dry and not dripping or leaking from the civicI assured *** that there was not an oil leak and it was from a previous oil changeAfter that the whole family took the civic for a test driveWhenthey returned they were impressed with how well the civic drove and the overall condition of it*** asked what was the next step to buy the civic? I told him that my policy was a cash depositHesaid how about cash depositI told him that my policy was cash deposit but that I would make an exception for him and let him put the cash deposit that he requested down on the civic.I drew up a contract for the purchase and deposit then we both signed itHe then left and called back about a half hour later to ask about an airbag light that was on the dashI told him that it would not fail the NYS inspection that I was going to schedule for the next day and he said ok.The next morning 12-15-I took the civic to have the NVS inspection done and while I was there I asked the certified NYS inspector to look at the residual oil that was inquestion by *** the night beforeHe looked at the residual oil and confirmed that it was from a previous oil change and the civic was not leaking oilAfter the inspection I phoned *** to tell him that the NYS inspection was done and that I had the residual oil looked at to ease his mindI thought that I would be proactive to make sure there were no issues with the civicI talked to his wife on the phoneShe had *** on the other line and she said that *** was worried about the airbag light being on and about the residual oil under the civicI told her about the NYS inspection and that had theinspector check the residual oil under the civic and confirm that there wasn't a leakShe asked if she could have *** call me laterI said sure and that I would take the civic to Dick IDE Honda thatafternoon and have them fix the airbag light and while it was there have the certified Honda technician look at the residual oil and confirm that there were no issues with the civicSo I dropped the civic off at *** *** *** and they said they would call me to let me know when I could pick up the Civic. later that evening I received a phone call from *** and relayed to him all of the things that took place earlier the day and that I was proactive and dropped off the civic at *** *** *** to fix the airbag and to double check the residual oil on the underside of the civic*** then told me that he wanted me to take the civic to *** *** to have the residual oil looked atI said that I was sorry that I had already dropped it off at *** *** Honda for the airbag light and to double check the residual oil leak I was trying to be proactive and to get the civic to *** and his family as fast as 1 could because there Chevy Prizm was up for NYS inspection and it would not pass so that's why ***was looking to buy another car*** began to get a little hostile and said that if he couldn't take the civic to *** *** then he did not want the carHe said that he would pay me for my time and trouble for all of the activity's that I had done that dayI told *** that he would have to forfeit the cash deposit if he was to back out of the signed contractI told him that is what a deposit was forand that my policy was a cash depositI referred him to the contract that he signed number 3 on the reverse side that say's buyers refusal to purchase it states unless this agreement is non-bindingbecause you are arranging credit for me, I understand that the cash deposit I have given you may be retained to offset your damages if I refuse to complete my purchaseI also understand that I may be responsible for any other damages you may Incur as a result of my failure to perform my obligations under the terms of this agreementI am not seeking any additional damages at this timeI have agreed to the cash deposit and will except that to cover the costs and inconvenience that I endured with this failed purchaseI have included a copy of both sides of the singed contract and the receipt from*** *** *** for the airbag light fixIt is my belief that I went above and beyond to have the civic checked out and to make sure that it would be 100% for *** and his family at no extra cost to them and all cost to meI do not think that it is fair to me and my business to do all of the things that I have done to insure that *** and his family would have a safe and reliable car and have him back out and leave me with the cost and inconvenience to have things fixed and looked at by multiple NYS certified technicians and certified Honda technicians that didn't need to be fixed or looked at in the 1st placeIcould have sold the civic to another party that was interested but I told the other party that I had a deposit from *** and that it was no longer availableAfter *** backed out I called the other interested party and they had already purchased another carI lost that opportunity to make a sale as a result of *** failure to purchasePlease review this letter and all of the documents that I have Included.Thank you Robert

Delaying in issuing the refund check. Still waiting for refund check since April. We registered our son [redacted] for 4 week Summer camps at ChesterBrook academy and at the time of registration we were told that apart from registration fee everything is refundable till the cancellation is atleast one week before the start date. We cancelled 4+ weeks in advance. They (Mr [redacted] confirmed that the cancellation will get processes and amount will get refunded. When we didn't receive the check, we inquired about it and were told that some central office will issue the check but that will be for 3 weeks. We will get the credit to use again in the future for 1 week. Since then we have followed up 6 times after waiting for 3-4 weeks and everytime we have been told that we will get the check soon but nothing has arrived yet. Finally we were told that Mr[redacted] has left Chesterbrook as well and we should contact some new PT teacher at Chesterbook who seems to be unreachable. Please issue us the complete refund along with the adequate late changes (interest fees) which as a business you charge your customers with an apology letter right away.Desired SettlementIssue the complete refund with interest charges that as a business you charge your customers along with the apology letter.

Review: Our son [redacted] (a 3 year old) started in Chesterbrook Academy on April 15 2013. He had trouble transitioning to a new school (he came from a home daycare facitlity) and would keep to himself but did not harm (or at least we were not told he had harmed) any other children. We were told of one inciddent where he opened a door in the classroom (on April 23 2013) and he "put a lego in his mouth" on April 25 2013 - at which point we picked him up.

Later that day we were informed that [redacted] would not be allowed to return after April 26 2013 (1 day's notice) and the reason given was that the school was inadequately staffed to make sure [redacted] would/could not put other toys in his mouth. Apparently they contended that the student/teacher ratio of approximately 10 to 1 was insufficient to provide [redacted] the oversight they thought he required and that he would not be allowed back after Friday April 26 2013 (essentially they gave us 24 hours notice).

At no point were we notifiedd of any potential issues which would require [redacted] to leave the facility. [redacted] was brought in for two "practice days" where no issues were identified. Essentially we were not told the rationale behind his expulsion other than the school's contentioin that they were not adequately staffed to oversee [redacted] (though apparently they were able to adequately oversee the remaining children) properly.Desired Settlement: An apology and admission of unprofessional behavior in writing.
