Chesterfield Fence & Deck

We paid over $18,000 for our deck in 2010. We have been very satisfied with it until recently. We noticed that the wooden support beams were starting to crack. Not small cracks... BIG cracks. Since the deck is under warranty for 15 years we contacted Chesterfield Fence & Deck and asked them to come out and look at the supports. Once we contacted them the office said they would set up a claim file and get back to us. Approximately 1 month later they called and said a representative would reach out to us. 10 days later a representative showed up, took pictures with his phone and told us he would show them to his supervisor and get back to us. A week later we received an e-mail from the representative stating that the damage was not severe enough to address repairing or replacing. He did however tell us that we could purchase a "wrap" to go around each post for $200.00 each plus labor. (we have 8 supports). First of all why didn't the supervisor come a look at the posts in stead of relying on a picture taken with a cell phone? Second why were we not advised of these "wraps" at the time we purchased the deck? To me this looks like a "long term" scam.

I had a fence installed by a company called the Fence Doctor. It was a nightmare and the gates were all installed wrong and the owner would do nothing to fix it. I called Chesterfield Fence and they did the best job I have ever seen. The Field Supervisor Gerald Stonebarger sent a crew out and just fixed them so fast and I am just thrilled. What a company

I had a fence installed by a company called ''The Fence Doctor''. The gates were just a mess a month after they were installed. The owner of the company would not correct the problem, so I called Chesterfield Fence and talked to Field Supervisor Gerald Stonebarger who sent a crew out here and replaced the two gates with the proper reinforcing bars and just did an amazing job. This company is top notch and soooooo good.
