Chesterfield Gardens Reviews (1)
Review: bought tree on 3-15-13 for $285.00 installed. Contractor promised to remove and plant a new tree after the tree died within 2 months. That was in June. Numerous visits to contractor office and each time promised to plant a replacement tree. It is now October 21, 2013 and still no action. I do not expect Revdex.com will do anything, but wanted to report terrible customer service to someone. I am requesting a replacement tree.Desired Settlement: plant a replacement tree now before the ground freezes.
I am writing in response to the above referenced matter, in which I received a complaint that had been submitted on 10/21/13.
Please be advised of the following:
[redacted] did buy a tree from my business on March 15, 2013. However, trees are not sold with any guarantee, express or implied. [redacted]' complaint failed to mention that the probable reason that this tree died in the first place was that he was away for ONE MONTH during the summer and did not properly care for the tree (i.e. have it watered in his absence).
Despite this, I was willing to replace the tree at no cost to the customer.
Prior to receiving the Revdex.com complaint, the tree was in fact replaced and delivered to his home.
Obviously [redacted] felt that this took too long for his liking.
I went above and beyond for this customer.

I am rejecting this response because: never informed of no guarantee, Wife watered tree while I was away. Paid $100 for replant. Very poor customer service. Waited 4 months for new tree. Will never, ever frequent this business again and will inform friends, etc of shoddy treatment by owner.Tree was watered by wife. Never informed that tree was not guaranteed for one year as most businesses do.
