Chestnut Hill Labradoodles, LLC Bocock Road Dillsboro, IN 513-623- [redacted] BB Customer Concern ID [redacted] January 17, Thank you for your letter, again bringing your concerns to our attentionWe extend our sincere apologies that you are not satisfied with your purchaseWe acknowledge, and hope you have as well, that purchasing a dog to meet your needs requires research and various decisions on the buyer as well as the recommendations provided by the breederAs the process of selecting a puppy began, we assisted you with your top priority being to choose a dog that bonded with your son, would become a great companion to him for his needs, as well as being hypoallergenic for your daughterOn your Puppy Application Contract, you made note that "minimal shedding is OK"When you began contacting us with the concern of your puppy shedding at age weeks, we educated you about puppies losing hair for various reasons, and determined it necessary for us to visit your home and assess the amount of shedding you were referring toUpon visiting your home on November 3, we assessed your puppy's coat and found her to have a great non-shedding curly fleece coat, and discussed the few white hairs on your black pants being less than minimalA refund of $was offered to ensure your happiness as a nice gesture, even though we did not find more than hair loss as you had described to us in your prior communicationsYou did not take the refund that eveningWe assessed the shedding concern, offered a refund, and there was no further reason to "give it more time"When we received your message again on January 10, regarding the "shedding" still being a concern for you, we offered a complete refund of purchase price for you to return the dog to us, as you were still noting this as "shedding" and this was not the dog you intended to purchaseWe are very sorry as it appears that your expectations of having a therapy dog may have been unrealisticWe hold our business standards to that of high integrity and did everything we could by directing you to the top three puppy choices that had characteristics of being a great companion dog for your sonWhen a puppy leaves our home at age weeks, it is impossible for us to control and predict what happens with her training and environmentThere must be a responsibility of the buyer to be knowledgeable and research the proper raising of their puppy and for companion or therapy training programsBasic obedience is a skill that requires ongoing workWe provide all of our buyers with lifetime assistance in sharing our knowledge and searching out their needs as they raise their new puppyWe did not receive any commination from you that you needed further assistance in trainingWe understand and empathize that returning a puppy after you have already invested in her and your family has bonded would absolutely be quite difficultHowever, it is evident that you are not satisfied with herIt is important to us as breeders that you are 100% satisfied with your purchaseOur decision to discount other puppies for shedding that you continue to refer to has nothing to do with your puppyWe do not believe that offering you a $rebate will rectify your concernsTo resolve this, we can offer you a full refund of the purchase price with the return of the puppy to usIn this way, I can find another family that does not have ANY concerns about hair fallout, even though you acknowledged minimal shedding to be acceptable in your puppy application; and you could search out another breed that may meet your expectationsWhat we saw when we visited your home is not more than minimal sheddingPlease consider this offer, as any other monetary offer will not stop the shedding issue that you refer toWith sincere regards, Rob and Lindsay B [redacted] Chestnut Hill Labradoodles

The business is flat out lying and we would like the return of our $deposit which we supposedly rejectedAs a matter of common sense, what person would reject $500? That makes no sense and they are lyingWe have been asking for our deposit to be returned since we started having issuesWhy would we then say that we did not want it? As for the shedding, I would be happy to submit photos and or video to show that it is quite a bit more than "a few hairs"They say that the $wouldn't make her not shed, but it would buy a nice Dyson vacuum cleaner since we have to vacuum every other dayReturning our dog isn't an option and they know that which is why they are offering a full refund if we return herWe aren't going to return a dog that our family has bonded with and lovedAlso, as mentioned previously we have invested quite a bit of money into the care and training of the dog that they will lot refund either. If they were willing to offer the $like they said they did and we supposedly rejected, then why not honor it now? That is all we are asking for We want our deposit back because we do not feel we got what we paid for and have been inconvenienced.

In this way, I can find another family that does not have ANY concerns about normal hair fallout, even though you acknowledged minimal shedding to be acceptable in your puppy application; and you could search out another breed that may meet your expectations. What we saw when we visited your home is not more than minimal shedding. Please consider this offer, as any other monetary offer will not stop the shedding issue that you refer to.
