***@cleveland.Revdex.com.org and Regular Mail *** *** Dispute Resolution Specialist Revdex.com, IncEuclid Avenue Suite #Cleveland, OH 44115 Re: *** ***, Case #*** Dear Ms***: To begin, Forest City Residential Management (hereinafter "FCRM") takes resident complaints very seriouslyAfter reviewing the facts of the matter, it has been brought to my attention that we have offered a remedy for the incidentUnfortunately, Mr*** entered the management office too irate to even discuss such offer with the Property Manager. The Property Manager informed the residents on April 7, of the building constructionThere was also a sign posted in the apartment complex stating that construction would begin on April 11, on the exterior brick of the buildingThis ongoing work is part of an extensive renovation project. The complaint arose after reasonable notification of the constructionThe interne posting, the sign in the common areas, and a covering hung over the apartment all indicate that there would be dust and debris from the constructionNotwithstanding the notification and awareness of construction, the tenant still left his window openThe construction had been going on for almost four weeks at the time the Mr*** indicated the problem occurred. The complaint was not brought to the attention of the Property Manager until June 2, Over a month had passed since the incident had occurred before Mr*** notified the Property ManagerThe Property Manager made a good faith attempt at remedying the situationManagement offered to have the apartment cleaned for himHowever, Mr*** was extremely belligerent and the offer was not responded toIt has been reported to me that Mr*** entered the management office and caused a scene and his conduct was wholly unproductiveIf Mr*** is dissatisfied with his housing, he can terminate the lease pursuant to the early termination option contained in the lease agreement Currently, FCRM has received no other complaints from other tenants in the building on dust issues As such, the remedy offered by FCRM was more than sufficient.In regards to Mr***'s allegations of any violations of the law, there is no merit As mentioned above, the renovation is very extensive Because of the size and extent, the city of Strongsville is on the premises frequently All necessary constructions permits were obtained and are in order for the entire renovation.If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
