I am rejecting this response because: I never had an oil leak from leak from the switch, I had my car worked on at [redacted] that is one block away from Chet and Cliff, I paid them to work on my car and perform diagnostics, they told me what was wrong with my car that I needed two fuel lines  to the injectors and I can get all of the paper work, I never had any problems with my head gasket, overheating, or leaking from oil switch and if they changed the oil switch the light would not still be blinking do to a electrical false alarm so I know that switch has not been changed because it is still blinking. They should have performed a diagnostics before even changing any parts anyway and again I had just had diagnostics done at [redacted]).   They told me that all I needed was to change those two fuel lines, I took it to Chet and Cliff and all of a sudden everything is wrong!

Mr [redacted] brought his car in because it did not idle and ran extremely bad.We brought the car in and found it to not be firing on # 3 and # 4 cylinder we pulled out the plugs on those cylinders and found the plugs to be fouled and old and they were also the wrong plugs for the car. We also had an...

oil leak where the oil was pumping out of the oil switch. So we put a switch in so we could work on the car with out having to put more oil in it. We then checked for fuel delivery on those cylinders and found the injectors to be plugged so we cleaned them and installed two fuel lines which he provided the car then idled but still ran rough Mr [redacted] was here when we started the car. When we ran the car up in rpm we found it to build pressure in the cooling system and come out of the pressure cap we also saw that the radiator tank was cracked and leaking.Whn we brought himin the shop o show him he started to tell us we did that to his car and we were trying to rip him off .I thougt he was kidding us until we figured out he was serious at that point we charged him less time then we had in diagnostic time at 1.4 hours and the parts and get him out of here as fast as we could . We figured out from the symptoms that the car has a bad head gasket so it will not run much better. We gave him the old plugs so he could retun them and get his money back since he said they were new??

Review: I contacted this Repair shop about some parts for my car and they ask me what was wrong,I needed some special VW fuel lines for my car because I have a mechanic look at my car and he told me that the fuel lines were leaking #2 and #4, I went to a shop that Chet and Cliff referred me to and picked up the lines, so I called Chet and Cliff and told him I had the lines and he say he could install them, I left my car there and informed him that the lines were in my truck, 2 hours later her called me and told me that I needed two fuels lines and I reminded him that they were in the truck, he told me that I could drive my car home because he had it running much better and bring it back in the AM but my car was not running any better he lied, I brought my car back and left over night. I went to the shop and they installed the lines but the car was still running the same, so I waited the his staff told me that I had a bad radiator and the car was running hot, my car never ran hot, then they put in spark plugs without my permission, the car still was running very bad, then they told me that I had a head gasket problem and it would be 1400 dollars this is a 1988 VW Fox, so he charged me 185 dollars for labor and parts he did not do any diagnostics they just started adding parts and the car is still running the same.Desired Settlement: I want my money back
