Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I will start this rejection out with the fact that I have accepted to have the dent less repair done from the dealershipAm I satisfied NO! It was better then nothing at this point Bill in his word claims the damage to the chrome is lifting and it is no fault of theirsThe reason that chrome lifts off its plastic base is because it has bee damaged so in other words it was scratched or a lot of pressure was applied and the adhesive that holds the chrome onto the base is now peeling away from where the plastic base now has a indention or scratch When I told Bill originally about the damage he did say he would look into it and after the third time of contact he stated he had reason to believe that the damage may have been from the mechanic that worked on the car but he could not question that person because he no longer works for the companyWhat happen? Why did Bill even mention this? As for the touch up that Bill speaks of all I had said was it looks like someone tried to hide the damage to my carHe after inspecting the vehicle claimed it had been touched up by a professionalThis is all in my complaint and as you can clearly see Bill is trying to change his story once againTo back that up Bill told Cadillac themselves that the dents where to sharp and no way his people could have done it not mentioning to them that he had claimed that it was repaired by a professional alreadyI am not even sure what he is trying say a dent is a dent Bill had already promised to repair the damage and I was just to bring the car in so he could get a idea of how long it would take and when they can get the car into the body shop for the repairsNot to inspect it to say whether he would fix it or notThat was already promised As for me not wanting to reach a solution I was already given a solution and at this time Bill was trying to back out of his promise and lie his way out of it I also mentioned in my statement that I had become upset after catching Bill in multiple lies that I had said some heated words as for insults not reallyMy exact words to Bill where "Your [redacted] people did this to my carBill then said I am done and I said well [redacted] your car lot if your not going to stand behind your wordNow you also have to remember I was very upset because I have been lied to many times by BillI am a professional and I stand behind my word and promises and unfortunately I lost my temper.I have not once changed my story or hid anything about this indecent yet Bill has changes his story many times since this took place At this point I am trying moving past this incident but Bill himself keeps upsetting me because he is making up even more lies and not just taking accountability for what happened to my carThe thing that really gets me is he is saying in good faith he was offering to repair the damage, No Bill your dealership damaged my car its your job to repair it I would like to mention also that I have had great experiences with everyone at the dealership in the service department especially Warren and David N [redacted] I have to say that when I brought my car in for the Dent less repair on 4/11/Warren I unfortunately can not find his last name took great care of me he even had them fix a dent in the trunk that was part of the incidentThat part Made me very satisfied with the service Until this incident I had nothing but good things to say about the dealership but when I was promised one thing from bill and then lied to again and again I just felt that I had to do everything I could to protect my fellow consumers from Bill he is a man in charge and he is dishonest I also wanted to add that I had to go to Cadillac themselves to get the issue resolved ***Cadillac Customer AssistancePhone Number: 1-866-790- Extension Number: [redacted] Case Number [redacted] again Bills story to them is also different that what he has stated to youPlease contact them if you like I have already had to pay for the chrome trim at a cost of fifty two dollars and as for getting the hood repainted I have been quoted/estimated five to eight hundred dollars from two different body shopsA simple oil change has turned into some costly repairs for me I thank you for all your time in this matter Sincerely, [redacted]

RE: [redacted]Mr. [redacted] did bring his vehicle in for repair on Saturday 2/20/2016  for an oil change. On Tuesday2/23/2016 I spoke with him regarding his complaint about damage to his car. Upon inspection of the vehicle it was determined that the scratch to the chrome was not actually a scratch at all, but the chrome lifting.   As for the claim that we "touched up" scratches and dings, we don't do touch up work in our shop so we couldn't have done what he is claiming happened.I offered to take care of a paintless dent repair as a gesture of goodwill.  At that point, Mr. [redacted] started to curse at me. Since it didn't seem like Mr. [redacted] wanted to reach resolution and just wanted to swear and throw insults around,I walked away calmly.As a resolution, I am still willing to do the paintless dent removal for Mr. [redacted].Sincerely,Bill R[redacted]Service Manager

Bill in his word claims the damage to the chrome is lifting and it is no fault of theirs.
