Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me except for that the rest of the car electronics have not been working properly since the repair Sincerely, [redacted]

We bought a Suburban on 12/29/17, and although initially very pleased with everyone we dealt with, we became very disillusioned after having some problems only days laterThe cruise control, then the oil sensor needed repair, and we were put off through the dealership's phone tree trying to get some satisfactionOn top of that, the service dept told us the vehicle needed other maintenance repairs which were not needed immediatelyHaving purchased several used cars and being mechanically knowledgable, we knew we were being encouraged to pay for labor costs that were not immediately necessaryWe understand that the suburban is used, and we appreciate that the oil sensor was repaired at their cost, however we are very dissatisfied with the way things were handledMy husband was put through the run around again when he came to pick up the car and wanted to discuss the situation, and a manager never did come to speak with himEvery customer should be treated with the same courtesy and respect, regardless of whether they purchased a used or new vehiclePlus, the suburban should have been checked for some of the maintenance repairs before it was ever put on the lotWe will not be recommending Chevrolet of Naperville to anyone, and will discourage people from going there

On 4/20/18, we purchased a Buick Regal with 60,miles from Naperville ChevroletUsed vehicles are advertised & required according to Salesman Eddie as having a inspection including brakes8/30, vehicle has 61,miles On Sun, 8/19th, we took it to PepBoys for an inspection due to a noise
The Mechanic, never seen brake pads so rusted NOT worn but rusted! Rotors warped & rusted with severe burn marksHardware kits destroyed & rusted throughHe deemed it unsafe to drive, it is impossible for the brakes to be in this condition after driving only miles
We repaired the brakes since the car was a safety hazard I called the dealership the next day Mon8/& was told that they do perform mandatory brake check as part of the inspection on all used vehicle they sellI was asked to provide a picture of the rusted pads & the statement from the mechanicEddie said they would get to the bottom of this
I received a call the Service MGR was on va

I leased a *** from Chevrolet of Naperville and after days the car lost total power as I was driving it the gas and brake pedals did not respond steering was not responding I could not move the shift *** all this happened as I was driving down the road! I had the car towed to the dealer where it has been sitting waiting for replacement parts form the manufacturerI expressed to the dealer that I do not feel safe in that cR and the experience has been a traumatic one I feel like h car is going to kill me and I asked them to please replace it with another unit free of problems or patch up repairs since I only drive this brand new car for less then a week I requested that they replace it with another one same color and condition, the dealer is not cooperating with me, the manufacturer said to just deal with it and if I don't die then there is nothing wrong with be car

complaint [redacted]     Mr [redacted] leased a new 2017 [redacted] from Chevy of Naperville on 7/18/2016. Approx.. a week later, the vehicle was returned to the dealership requiring a new part to repair the vehicle. This instance had caused a great concern to the customer as to having confidence in the vehicle. After having discussions with the factory as to feeling comfortable this new part will correct the concern, I sat down with the customer to discuss what we can do going forward. I informed him we can’t cancel the original deal and replace it with a new one without costs being passed on to him. We offered to make first next car payment of $500 to try to make him feel a little better about his concerns. The customer asks me if we can make that amount to include 3 payments, totaling $1600, that would satisfy him. I honored his request, issued him a check for $1600. At this point, we feel this case is closed satisfied. Also, the part is installed and the customer is currently driving his new vehicle Any further questions, please contact me   Sincerely   [redacted] Chevy of Naperville
