the credit union offers GAP to our members in connection with a vehicle loan, we are not obligated to do soAs well, members are not obligated to purchase the productNevertheless, GAP is and has been widely available to consumers, and is usually offered by auto dealers as well as financial institutions and others. The deficiency balance on your loan is a fact, and the credit union is unable to change that fact.
