I hate HomeTeam Pest Defense, Incof Florida
It is my opinion, that they sell the worst termite protection service possible
Their Sentricon system failed to protect my home from termites, and then they have refused responsibility for the damages
I paid HomeTeam to protect my home from termites for years
I paid HomeTeam for a $million dollar warranty to pay for termite damage should it occur Well...it occurred!
I believe they have acted in a dishonest manner, which has led me to sue them for breach of contract in Seminole County The trial date is set This should be fun As Stewie would say, "Victory is mine!"
Furthermore; I believe the local Longwood branch of HomeTeam is implementing corporate wide policies which rest upon weaseling out of responsibility by contract abuse I am hopeful that a class-action suit will materialize from my sad experience with HomeTeam
The HomeTeam Longwood staff was rude, disrespectful and condescending during my efforts to claim termite damages I believe they were negligent in stopping the termites before damages became extensive This has led me to file a Request for Investigation with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
I'd love to hear from former customers or employees with knowledge of similar disputes with Hometeam
I have had Home Team Pest Defense since I bought my home in 2010 for both termite and regular pest control. My home was built in 2006 so relatively new. I have for the past year been having issues with ants...they always respond but it's always the same thing, they make an appointment and then set bait.Which I thought worked 8 months ago...however since then I have had to call them every other month for the same issue at the same place.....now it has increased to 4 different places. The bait is not working apparently. I had Josh a manager come out as he was convinced the veteran tech was not doing his job correct. The manager made an appointment which he did not show up for, he called 2 hours past the time and said he was behind schedule and could not attend. We rescheduled for the next day, which he called and pushed the appointment 2 hours later......then showed up 3 hours total past the scheduled time.He arrived looked around my property then proceeded to tell me he did not have the product he needed on hand to treat my property......he came back another day with a scheduled appointment which he was on time for, problem.....he did not have enough product to treat with him?????REALLY???? Since then the problem persists and I am fed up at this point. I called for 3 days since mid December and the phone lines were having issues, so I emailed the branch telling them I want an appointment again. 2 days later finally a callback and no appointment just a message to call them to set up an appointment. I called yesterday again spoke to Lynette and she said a manager would call me, none did. Lynette did call me back though and made an appointment for tonight December 29 at 5 pm which I told her they better have the product with them and the time to treat tonight as my past experiences I will not be missing work 2 and 3 times because of their non-professionalism. We are under house arrest literally with them as a pest control provider as they are the only ones with the ability to treat the TAEXX system and they know that so they do not care about their clients because they do not have to. Pest control is not cheap and runs me close to $1000.00 per year and we deserve to be treated respectfully and fairly. the most important thing is they are the experts and need to get this problem fixed about the [redacted] ants.....................4 different areas now.
