What this company is doing should be illegal, they are raping the communityI own two businesses in town as well as rental property so along with my personal residence I have seven accounts with Cheyenne Light Fuel and PowerWhen I recently opened my second business location they charged me $1,for a depositIt didn't matter that I already had service in good standing, it didn't matter that I have a good credit rating, they don't care, they just want moneyA few months earlier the daycare my wife owns had their power shut offWe went down and showed proof that there was an issue with the mail and the bill was never delivered but they didn't careWe paid $to reconnectDidn't matter that this business has been in good standing for yearsThe bad part is that the account is in the name of the person who owns the building which means we will never see that money againWe recently moved to a bigger building and were told we can't get that money back, the credit will go to the owner of the buildingI also did the math and over the last three years they have taken me for about $in deposits on my rentals due to tenants moving out and not paying their billsHow is this fair? They will tell you that the deposit is meant to discourage non payment but charging deposits over and over blindly doesn't discourage anybodyIf you can't pay the bill then you can't pay the bill, and in our situation it wasn't even a matter of not being able to payBut they don't careI was born and raised in Cheyenne but have lived in other states and I can tell you that deposits aren't charged by any other company and certainly not to this extent
