Review: A mother of bride's gown was purchased from this merchant which cost approximately $500. The alterations cost an additional $80. When the gown was picked up a week before the wedding the alterations were botched and the gown looked horrific. The hem was uneven from front to back and the sleeves of the dress were botched. When I expressed to the [redacted]" what happened she had an attitude and said that she could not fix the dress because it was now prom season and that her store was too busy to address the issue. She mentioned that she would return half of the alteration cost. I explained to her that we had only a week before the wedding and her explanation of prom season should not be the priority at this time as the mother of the bride is frantic. I got no resolution over the phone so I went to the store to show [redacted] the pictures. When she saw the pictures and realize how bad the alterations were she ordered a new dress with an attitude. She told me to pick up the new dress within 3 days which I did. When I returned to the store she took the old dress from me and threw the bag it was in on the floor. She then went to the back with a nasty and unprofessional attitude and came out with the new dress. She bagged it up very aggressively and didn't apologize. She also said that she would not do the alterations on the new dress and did not refund us the money from the botched up alterations in the amount of $80. I am very upset as two dresses was purchased in the amount of $500 each (the groom's mom (myself) and the bride's mom. The customer service was horrible and I would not recommend using this merchant because if there is a problem it will not be resolved by them.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $80 I spent for alterations, an apology and for this store to be listed as one of the worse clothing stores.
