If it was possible to give this company zero stars I would.
Over a year ago I started to process of purchasing a condo that was managed by Florida Advanced Properties. I filled out my condo application requested a rush in the process due to the time crunch I was in to my closing date. I sent the application and my check, after a week of waiting I did not get a reply so I called them, I was told that my application was received and is being process again I mention to the lady that my closing date is getting close and can please see if they could rush this request, she said she will see what she can do. Two weeks passed and still nothing, by that time I was done, I took it upon myself to drive to the office ( this was an 1hour and half drive) and see if I can speak to someone about my application. When I get to the office I explain the situation and was greeted by the same lady very rude when she found out who I was. I guess she was tired of me calling and now I had the nerve to come to the office and find out what is the reason of the delay of my application. I asked to speak to someone who would be able to assist me no one was available, and on one could answer my question, and they would have to get back to me this was a useless and pointless visit. A few days later I did get a call back and my approval from the HOA, it only took me calling about a hundred times to finally get a reply and approval.
I have now lived in my unit for a year now, in the past two months I have been getting a lot of rain in my area. My unit has a wooden gate that I need to go through in order to go in and out of my house. Because of the rain and I guess because of the bad job done when installing the gate the top screws fall off. My gate need to be repaired, I had to lift it each time I need to enter or go out not an easy thing to do. I called the management company serval times informing of this and was told that they would look into it. A month pasted and still my gate remain broken and no reply from management what they would be doing about this. I sent them and email with a photo of what my gate looked liked, and did not receive a reply.
After waiting for so long I went ahead and just paid someone to fix the gate for me. What upset me is that I did not have to do this, I pay my fees to Florida Advanced Properties so when such things happen I would not have to deal with it. Every time I have had to talk with them, I get the run around, no one has an answer or they never reply or they take forever to get back to you. It is just frustrating how unhelpful and unfriendly Florida Advanced Properties.
This company charges a $200 fee for processing rentals or new acquisition applications, which in my opinion base on my experience as a licensed CAM and Realtor in the state of Florida for 10 years, and compare to industry standard is excessive, in mi case it took over 4 weeks, I found out there was a typing error that was holding the app to be process only after I call a week later after submitting the app, they didn't have the courtesy to advice. The process was very tedious, every time I call the lady would give me a different excuse why it was not getting done. In conclusion, Bad customer service, no consistency in their process, very bad (zero) communication. Our consumers deserve better!!
This company Florida Advanced their staff they don`t know what they doing especially accounting, went I ask for the manager from Villa Grande she always in the meeting or out , I leave my information to return my call never happen, horrible customer service, I have give them all my information from the bank to have my account in automatic withdraw they can`t event do that they charge one thing and they don`t charge the other, then went the account goes in to default they have this automatic collection agency they take your account without notification and take you to court this happen once to me now happening again. this is the worse management company I event see.
