Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2014/09/27) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] OWNER Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @CHICAGOAUTOPLACE.COM On September 8th, the customer [redacted] (***) submitted an online inquiry in regards to the Porsche Cayenne S VIN# [redacted] XXXXXWe contacted the customer, the same dayThe customer did mention that they were credit challenged, therefore filled out a credit application to get approved before coming into the dealership the following dayThe customer said she has a good amount of down payment and she can put between $4500- $down if necessaryAs we processed the credit, we noticed that there was an open repossession order on the current car loan as mentioned by the customerShortly after reviewing the bureau we attempted to contact the customer that we can get the deal approved with $5,total down payment and need stipulations, including the letter of confirmation of repossession, proof of residence, and proof of income, current paystub, and utility bill- requirements for the bankThe customer did not answer the phone, nor did she return our phone call The following morning, September 9th, [redacted] (***) and ***, showed up in our showroomWe could not get the deal approved under [redacted] name for the fact that the customer admitted that still had the car in her possession and was not able to provide proof that the car has been taken away Customer gave us a deposit, partial down payment to hold the vehicle for the amount of $and mentioned that in days will come back to the dealership to give us the balance and stipulations needed for the bank On September 12, three days after deposit was taken, customer was contacted and informed that we have not received any stipulations nor remaining balance for the down payment for the purchase of Porsche Cayenne S and the deposit that was received on 09/09/has been fully refunded back to the card At this point, this was no sale and deposit was refunded back to the customerAttached you will find the copy of the purchase receipt as well as the refund receipt

Also, Chicago Auto Place did put the code in... the radio after the battery has been replaced. We advise that the customer contacts/dispute the matter of dead battery/missing code with the shipping company, as it is beyond our control after the vehicle left the dealership to be shipped overseas.

I am rejecting this response because: This does not address the issue of the...

plates not being sent in a timely manner (2 Months) and does not even mention the issues with the mechanical faults with the car and NO attempt to try and correct the problems.

The DMW for state of New Jersey will be mailing the plates directly to customer. Chicago Auto Place does not owe anything to customer. Customer can contact local DMW for status of plates.

This place is HORRIBLE. I am 21 years old came in looking to buy my first car. First and foremost the car that they had online and the price listed was not the actual car they were selling . I get there with full expectations to check out the car I inquired about only to be told that the car is not the car they are selling for that price . They had a new girl who barely spoke any English handling me and my buy. Once they realized she didn't know what she was doing they sent a snappy blonde who spoke very condescending to me . Advising me I would need more of a down payment basically acting as though I didn't have money for the car I wanted . I let her know that I have the money to get what I want . she was very rude throughout the whole process basically rushing me to make a decision. Me being about 9 months pregnant really needed a car so I choose to buy . Needless to say I had the car 3 days before ALL THE SERVICE LIGHTS CAME ONE !!! I called about it they told me to leave my car they wil order the part and fix whats wrong with it . Almost two days went past and they still had my car I called up there to see the status of the car and was told they hadn't even ordered the part they havent even looked at my car. They told me I can come get it they will call when the part arrives - took about 2 mos before I called them again and they advised they had the part and I can bring my car in to get the part put on .After that about 1 mo later the whole alternator went dead and now I'm paying for that to be fixed ! im very upset about the HORRIBLE business and will never do business here !!!!!!
