Got a Benz 350E class amg off SHOW ROOM FLOOR within months car needed service, two fuel pumps went out, sunroof malfunction never used before, air conditioner pressure only works on high, with other stuff going wrong!! HATE I got a car from there the worse service ever!! They lie constantly!!!

Don’t know about all this complaints and buyers! First of all when you’re buying a used car! Expect use car problems! If you have bad credit and they take your case, don’t complain on down payment. When you take a used car to a mechanic! That’s there job to make money off you as well, if you don’t want problems buy a new car!
I’ve dealt with this dealership for over 10years! Bought so many cars from them people think I actually worked there, lovely staff, the owner builds personal relationships with buyers, they work with any type of credit.
This is my one and only stop for all my buying needs!
Thanks Chicago auto place.

Worst dealership I have work with, they got my wife approved for the loan then when it was time for us to sign they didnt had the agreed price on the contract, then they raised the vehicle and down payment 3 thousand to supposedly help me out but in reality they were charging me taxes of the full amount which I was going to end up payment taxes of money that never existed, when I found out I told the lady at the office and she got all offended and we got kicked out and they refused to make the sale, please read your contracts carefully before signing it.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! These people lie and are shady. They sold us a bad truck and added extra items to our finance agreement totalling an extra 4k! Rob and Michelle are snakes! I'm sure they ALL are but that's who we dealt with. Also the warranty company they throw on you is worse than them! Shady shady SHADY

I purchased a vehicle from Chicago Auto Place that was described to me as having no mechanical issues. When I received the vehicle in Maryland It had loud engine knock and my mechanic told me lower engine bearings are worn it needs an engine.
I reached out to the merchant for a refund and to return the car and they will not take it back or help with the engine repair. It has not been driven since it was delivered to me. I am in the process of getting my credit card company involved as well as that was the way it was paid for. I need your help.

If I could I'll give it a 0 I've never done this before really giving a bad review on a business because I believe everyone deserves the chance of making a good business but this place got me good when I protect myself from purchasing broken vehicles from the street .
I came here with my wife and purchased a 2011 *** I had good expectations from this place I trusted the place since its a dealership with name brand cars and with there own mechanical shop like a new car dealership. I was wrong beware!!!! came in to this dealership Chicago auto place in bensenville Illinois purchased a 2011 *** a sales man at this place lied to me and my wife just to get a sale told me that the car was serviced never had no problems that it was just taken to bmw and had it serviced before putting it for sale cause they wouldn't sell any car if it had problems guaranteed me that the car was in good shape he explained about a 15 day warranty that if anything happened to the vehicle before those 15 days the dealership would take care of it no problem I called the sales man to tell him about the problem with my vehicle and he told me to bring it in as soon as I got to the dealership he did not come out to help me out instead he had a service advisor talk to me. Service checked the car and inspected it but the service advisor told me that the car was out of warranty that they could not repair it on there behalf .the service advisor was going up and down he told me he was speaking to the salesman that sold me the vehicle. The service advisor said to me they could repair it but it was going to be out of my pocket that I was looking over 2000 dollars of repairs and that of what the salesman had told him it was out of warranty , as I explained to the service advisor that the vehicle was not passed the 15 days.the service advisor told me that the vehicle was over 500 miles that it voided the warranty the salesman did not say that to me on the sale when I was signing the papers with my wife ,so even dough I was not over the 15 days I was over 500 miles that voided the guaranteed warranty on the paper I signed, it does not state of the warranty being voided over 500 miles it only says 15 days. I've own this car since October 11 2019 today its November 10 2019 and ever since I bought this vehicle 2011 *** it has broken down on me I've been putting money for repairs know I'm stuck with a broken down vehicle a loan payment on the bmw repairs that I have to fix because they sold me a broken vehicle the 2011 *** is not even a month that I purchased it it has all this problems. Chicago auto place dealership should take responsibility and repair my vehicle for selling me a mechanical problem car it's a shame that it barely reached a month and my vehicle is not working .I hope to could take care of it Chicago auto place.

At first they treat you nice I had good expectations from this place I trusted the place since its aprofessional bussiness dealership with name brand cars and with there own mechanical shop like a new car dealerships but I was wrong came in to purchase a suv bmw sales man lied to me just to get a sale I've own this car since October 11 2019 today its November 10 2019 and ever since I got it the suv has broken down on me I've been putting money for repairs took the suv back sales man didnt come out to see me instead a service advisor took car of me telling me the car was out of warranty they guaranteed me 15 days and they would repair any mechanical problems lies they never said to me that if I passed 500 miles it would voided the 15 days warranty. Come on it's a business they should give us costumers a working vehicle not a broken one now I'm stuck repairing it I pretty much took a load of there hands they robbed me by selling me a suv that needed a lot of repairs I dont think it's fair to buy an expensive vehicle and they tell you it's in good condition but a couple days later it breaks down they know what there doing I'm very dissatisfied with this place then they tried to sell me an extended warranty so it would cover my repairs when ots there obligation to give me a working vehicle not a broken one.

Oh and adding a little more to state it clear from the confusion I took the suv back to the dealership before the 15 days expiring thats when a service advisor took care of me by the name ben good guy I dont blame him but the sales man did not want to come and help me out instead I was talking to service (ben) I really dont know what to do now I'm stuck with a car payment and repairs that cost thousands of dollars ....the suv has a leak on the valve cover gaskets it has the brake light battery discharge engine light on cylinder misfire code PO308 and I just bought me tires for it the ones it had prior where worn out I do not recommend this place I've never done this before but someone needs to know..

I purchased (trade In) a vehicle from this company May 11, 2019. Chicago auto place is to pay off trade in vehicle with chase. It has been almost 2 months and chase has not gotten paid. I have called and emailed patiently. They have been giving me the run around. No one from Chicago auto place will give me an answer as to why the trade in vehicle has not been paid off. I am now showing 2 car loans on my credit report. I also am paying for 2 loans because I do not want my credit ruined. I

Had a great experience here. whole process was smooth all the way to the end.
Car runs great haven't had any issues at all. Sales staff was great everyone was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable with my purchase. will recommend. will definitely return for any future purchases . Very satisfied customer!

We placed a deposit amount of $500 on a used car we intended to purchase. The deposit amount was to be used to hold the car so the dealership wouldn't sell it to anyone else before we could get them a check for the agreed price. The deposit was placed on 12/28/2018. On 1/3/2019 we officially purchased the car and the dealership agreed to return the $500 deposit. As of 2/21/2019 they still have not returned our money and they now say we need to dispute the original transaction with our personal bank. This appears to be a tactic to keep the $500 for extra profit. The dealership sent us picture what appears to be a return receipt showing $500 but we never received this money back into our bank account. We have called this dealership many times over the last several weeks and provided our bank statement to them on 2/11/2019 to show we didn't receive the refund. They are unwilling to try to find out why our deposit was never refunded to our bank account. We asked for a check for $500 but they won't do that. The dealership will not call us back with an explanation, we have to be the ones to call them if we want to talk to them. They want us to dispute the original transaction with our personal bank which is untruthful. It is not up to the consumer to fight for their own money. The dealership should just send us a check for $500 and then try to find out who has the money they supposedly sent back.

On January 22, 2019 I gave a $200.00 deposit to hold a vehicle until I could get up to look at it. I was told by Will that the $200.00 would be refunded if I didn't make a deal for vehicle. Because of weather, I was not able to drive up from Louisville, Ky. until February 2, 2019 to look at it. We ended up not buying vehicle and sales representative Joey said Will would credit $200.00 to our account on Monday February 4,, 2019. That has not happened and now after repeated attempts, Will does not even return my calls, as promised by receptionist.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Stay away from this dealership. Shady!

I purchased a 2010 *** LR4 HSE from Chicago auto place on November 28th 2018. I purchased a car from Michelle who told me the car has gone through a 50 point inspection to guarantee no problems and I would have my license plates delivered to my home within two weeks of purchase. Today I still have no registration and when I received the car it was in complete undrivable condition. I have Finance this car through *** and have not been able to drive it due to no registration that has expired on January 10th and today is February 7th. The car is sitting in the road with two flat tires and no registration so it is no longer legal. I have called DMVs they have no information on the vehicle and I have gone through every possible Outlet in order to try to figure out why I have not received my registration or license plates. Also I brought the car to a mechanic the day I received it and he informed me that the car is in complete disarray and I should return it. Upon that news I contacted Chicago Auto Place to try to make things right but they told me that the car was not like that when they left although the car only had 3 extra miles on it since I only drove it home from a parking lot across the street from my home. I now have a $22,000 car payment that I will have to be taken care of although I still do not have a registered vehicle that runs. I am a senior citizen and this car is for me to drive back and forth to doctors offices and at the moment I have been using Uber which is not convenient for me. I honestly don't know what to do anymore these people will not help me they have done nothing to answer my questions except tell me that it is in the process but it has been four months now and I deserve a working registered vehicle. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered and I would really appreciate some help at this point since I need a vehicle as soon as possible and the car is unregistered in the road and can be towed at Anytime.

Mr. Jose *** purchased a 2010 *** November 30, 2018 as shown on the Bill of Sale he put a down payment of $3,500.00 dollars and financed the remaining balance through ***. As this vehicle was financed we are required to process the license and registration for him, we do use a third party out of state titling company to get this done, the paperwork was sent out in a timely manner and is being processed through his state, the state of New Jersey had issues processing the title as their clerk was questioning Lien Holder information provided and this caused a delay on their end. Plates and registration will be shipped to him directly from our third party titling company, Mr. has been informed. Unfortunately in the state of Illinois we are only allowed to give One drive away per customer, and as stated his paperwork is being processed through his state with us not having any control over how long the state of New Jersey takes. The vehicle Mr. purchased is a Used vehicle sold As Is, Mr. was offered an Extended Warranty with Alpha Warranty which was purchased and included in his financing. The Extended warranty Mr. purchased has day one coverage, We have requested several times for a picture of the odometer reading on the vehicle and Mr. has been ignoring our request. We can not help Mr. as he is not cooperating or even giving us any real information as to what the issue was.Mr. has been only extremely rude to all the staff here and making harassing calls. here...

Have spoken to dealership multiple times inquiring about my title work. Every time I'm placed on hold and told I will receive call back. Calls are never returned. purchase vehicle and now on my own. Unable to register car and use because dealership is refusing to acknowledge my title paper work and process it. Will be fined for owning car so long without registering. Vehicle is currently sitting due to BMV not having any title affidavit from dealership to allow me to register my vehicle. Have tried multiple times to contact and resolve issue with dealership. After being sold the vehicle it is as though they have lost interest in anything to do with me as a customer.

Mr. purchased a vehicle from Chicago Auto Place on December 11th 2018, a vehicle which was financed which requires the dealership to secure lien meaning we have to process the License and Title. Mr. is an out of state customer and the state of Indiana does have some requirements such as an Emissions Test and a Vin Inspection , which came in shortly after purchase. The companies title clerk has been in contact via email with Mr. and he was made aware Indiana DMV has all the necessary documents to process his title and plates, he was also informed plates would get shipped via *** once they have completed the registration.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

They charged $400 to register vehicle in Wisconsin through some third-party. The initial amount was an "estimate" and if I over-paid, they would refund the difference. But even though I made requests for an invoice, they ignored me.

They damaged the vehicle trim and I filled out paperwork that they signed saying they would provide replacement parts. Because on final pick-up, they had not repaired it like they said they would. After numerous attempts via email and phone, they finally sent a part, but it was not at all correct and did not resolve the issue. After this I was ignored.

They claimed they MUST install VIN security tags through the vehicle. I said I did not want them installed. They said it was REQUIRED and that it would reduce my insurance rates. I still insisted I did not want them. My insurance said there was no discount. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I saw them placing the stickers on the various car panels!

Overall I calculate I was scammed out of an additional $400. Plus there is damage to the vehicle that was never resolved. Estimate on new trim parts is about $400 additional.

They need to be investigated for these practices and for lying to scam people out of more money. A class-action suit may be in order.

My son bought a car from this place. Horrible experience. They gave us many stories about a check being sent to the bank to cancel the gap insurance. Called bank several times . Never received the check. They say they will call us back ..never do. Lied to my son that if he put down 3000.00( this was on a Saturday . He could go to his local bank Monday and get the loan thru our bank. They then went and did the financing anyways thru there Mechanics Bank. This has cost my son so much extra money and time and we keep getting a run around. They are also giving our bank the run around. Very poor business tactics. More like a fraud transaction.

On August 31st, 2018 I contacted Chicago Auto Place about a 2011 *** they had listed on ***. Over the next week I spoke on the phone with Joanna and we traded emails back and forth. I had the vehicle inspected at a nearby mechanic, made and offer on the vehicle and agreed to drive from Springfield, MO to their dealership to purchase the vehicle on September 8, 2018.

We paid via Cashier's Check, signed papers and were told at the very last minute that we would receive the title to the vehicle in the mail within 2 weeks. After 2 weeks (9/24/18) and no title in the mail I called the dealership and got the run around. I spoke to Jeanette, she said she would call me back in a few minutes. I called back several hours later, she apologized and told me that the previous owner had forgotten to give them the title. She said they contacted the previous owner and he was supposed to bring the title in and that we would have it in the mail overnight-ed as soon as they had it.

I called again on 10/6/18 and spoke to Jack ***. Jack promised to reimburse us $25 because Missouri will charge us for not registering the vehicle in time. We were then told that the previous owner had lost the title and had filed for a replacement and that we would have it soon. We informed him that we would file with the Revdex.com if we didn't hear anything by Monday the 8th. He said "There won't be any need for that."
On 10/8/18 I received an email with another temp tag that expires on 11/5/18

I called on 10/22, 10/24 and 10/25 asking to speak to Jack or Jeanette. They would not return my calls.

I called again on 10/29. Jeanette promised she had filed for a replacement Title and promised I would have it by the end of the week 11/2/18. It is now 11/5/18. Chicago Auto place has not contacted me.

Chicago Auto Place sold me a vehicle they did not and technically still do not own. I paid CASH. They have stalled, avoided me and continued to fail to provide a satisfactory resolution.

Our experience started out great and then went downhill. My husband and I drove 4 hours to pick up a vehicle. While we were test driving it my husband noticed how bald the front tires were and that the vehicle was on empty. The sale girl said they would rotate the tires for us and fill it up with gas (which you would think would have been done prior). So we go inside to start the remaining paperwork. We first had to wait 45 minutes to be brought into the office to finish filling out paperwork. We already had all the loan stuff done prior. Once we were done with the paperwork we figured the car would be ready to go. Nope they informed us we would have to wait. After waiting for an additional 30 minutes without anyone even checking on us or acknowledging us, my husband asked what the hold up was. They said we were next in line, that it would be 20 minutes. 30 minutes later we had to go track someone down again, apparently they had to replace the break pads too because they were so bad. Wouldnt you think they would have done a full inspection of the car before listing it?! What should have only taken not more than an hour took us 3.5 hours. We've had the vehicle for 6 weeks, we have yet to get our plates and a belt has now gone out on it. I was skeptical prior to buying the car have read the reviews about this place, but went a head and did it anyway. Once you finish the paperwork for the vehicle they could care less about you. Spend the extra time and go somewhere where they will take care of you
