Do NOT use this company! Marcus came out to look at a dryer that wouldn't heat up. Everything else worked, but the dryer just wouldn't ignite. After 30 minutes of testing/poking around, he stated that the Control Board was the problem. I received the estimate the next day and it was $825, total, to repair the dryer. I felt that was a BIT high so I called a local appliance parts store and double-checked, and was told the part was $117 + tax. Upon asking CH&C 'why' the repair was so much based on the research I performed, I got a multitude of answers, none of which were satisfactory. I received then a very nasty 3 page text the next day as well. Needless to say, I could post everything from the text, but that seems unprofessional and don't want to come down to CH&C's level. So, I contacted a different repair guy. It wasn't the control board after all, it was a $40 part, and all in all, they charged me a total of $165 for a total of 45 minutes work. Do the math everyone! Don't trust this company.
Homeowner believes the world revolves around him and that he runs our Company. We guarantee and warranty any work we do and as such, we never performed any work nor did we even get a service fee as a charge back was immediately enacted by homeowner when he did not like the quote. We will not justify this individuals lies and half truths.
Clarifications:
A. When I asked if you would guarantee the initial assessment and stand by your service call assessment, you said "No", and I have the text to prove it.
B. After the issues with the price were presented, you stated you would refund my service call fee and call it a day. I waited 2 weeks for it to be refunded, and contacted you 3 times to follow up. No response was ever provided and the service call fee refund was not initiated So, Yes, I did end up calling the bank to request a charge back, after waiting 2 weeks for the refund to occur.
