This is in response to complaint #[redacted].The notes from our escrow agent are provided below.  If you need additional information please let me know.  [redacted]Called and spoke with [redacted] - He explained that he was very frustrated and that he was told that another set of documents...

were needed along with an additional $75.00 fee. He kept talking about his frustrations and let him continue to express his frustration. Once he was done explaining his frustrations I walked him through the reason for our second request of the Interspousal deed and the additional $75.00 fee. Since NV is a community Property State. After my explanation that phone call had been made to his ex-wife. Who he stated that his ex said she never received calls from us. I let him know that we have spoken with her and left her messages. I also let him know that I am going off of notes in his file which are time stamped and cannot be changed and he is going off of information from his ex-wife and we can continue to point fingers but this will not solve that in order for our office to proceed we will need the $75.00 fee and the Interspousal signed by his ex-wife’s current husband. He stated that he understands the reasoning behind our request and that he will pay the $75.00 only if his ex-wife agrees to get the paperwork completed. I stated that I would call his ex-wife and speak with her and see where she stands about getting the paperwork completed. He was thankful for my suggestions and asked that I call him back. I let him know I would a call him back and hopefully we can collect the payment and prepare the Interspousal deed and move forward. He thanked me again and we ended the call. I called and spoke with [redacted] – She stated to explain that she already completed everything that she needed to complete and we confused why I was calling her. I let her know that we had left her a message in regards to her completing the letter in the QCD package which requested her marital status. She said that we already knew that she was remarried and that she already sent us her marriage certificate. (I reviewed the file and we did not receive a marriage certificate) I started to explain the reasoning and [redacted] hung up on me. I returned [redacted]’s call and explained to him that I attempted to speak with his ex-wife and she unfortunately hung up on me before I was able to explain our reasoning. He said yes that is what I have been dealing with. So I asked [redacted] what he would like to do since we are unable to proceed forward with the knowledge that she is remarried and she is uncooperative to sign additional paperwork. He asked if he did cancel would he be able to get his $290.00 back. I advised him that since our office prepared the QCD we do not refund the paid fee since our services have been rendered. I did mention that I would just double check with my higher ups to confirm if there may be a portion of the paid fee we could refund and I would let him know. He thanked me for my explanations and if there was anything I could do to refund him it would be appreciated. We ended the call.

Review: To Whom It May Concern:The purpose of this letter is to explain the events which transpired regarding the timeshare that my wife and I purchased from the ([redacted] Company) called "[redacted]" whichwe eventually sold to [redacted] for a penny. We were completely dissatisfied with [redacted] and the [redacted] Company when welearned they had used several deceptive tactics in selling the time share to us. They neverinformed us that the time share would be forced upon our children at the death of my wife and I.We were told we would have no problem renting this property out because it would always be inhigh demand and that they ([redacted]) would help us to rent this time share out, Etc ... Whenwe contacted [redacted] regarding our concerns we could not reach a settlement for the returnof this property even though the time share had been fully paid off.My wife and I decided to give the time share away for a penny to [redacted] and [redacted]Kelly who live@ [redacted]. We contacted [redacted] and theysent us a form to transfer the property on a quick deed to the [redacted]. We received a documentfrom the Chicago Tittle Company [redacted], Escondido, [redacted] which statedthat the Property had been titled to the [redacted] August 22,2012, the Escrow# is [redacted] was the Escrow Assistant who processed the Deed, she can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]We later found out, after receiving several bills from [redacted] that th~ Chicago TitleCompany never forwarded a copy of the title to [redacted] (informing them of the newowners, the [redacted]). After calling the Chicago Title Company they informed me they did notmake enough money on the quick deed so they did not forward a copy to [redacted]. I paid[redacted] and the Tittle Company the monies they asked for in good faith and if I had beeninformed by either company that the funds were insufficient to complete this transaction I wouldhave paid the additional monies. Neither of these companies are reputable in my mind, this is notthe way to do business. To this day, three years later, I am still being threatened with legal actionby [redacted] what a poor way to run a business! My wife and I have been continually harassed and threatened by the [redacted] Companybecause they claim that we are still the owners of the time share (even though the property istitled to the [redacted]), and they continually send us a bill for the maintenance fees The ChicagoTittle Company needs to make this right, if there are additional monies that need to be paid tocomplete this transaction it should have been requested when the title was being sent to the[redacted]. We sent [redacted] the $95 to transfer the title and they refused to make the transfer.Yours Truly,[redacted]Desired Settlement: See Above

Review: I had contacted Chicago time share at the beginning of 2014 to inquire about the price of removing my name.

They called me back in July to do a follow up. Talking the the representative was nice. She informed me how easy it would be and that $525 will take care of everything. Including pulling up old documents and issuing new ones. I figured since it was easy I might as well do it. She told me all I will have to do I verify some information after.

They took my money and I got an email requiring me to go through an entire process of steps instead of just verifying information. I would have to contact my ex husband who I haven't talked to in 2 years and go to a notary. I asked them to refund my money as I was misinformed or ill advised. I was told that everything would be taken care of on their end.

The title is just a document with my name on it, both my ex and I were not bothered by it. So we have left it. I just figured that since we are both moving on I would do the nice gesture and remove myself.

$525 is a lot of money. That is why I believed them when they said that everything will be taken care of. I am removing myself off the title, I am not removing my ex husband. Why do I need to fill out all these forms and go to a notary? I would not have paid had I known. The representative needs to be more informative or upfront with the process.

They will not refund my money. I am not getting what I paid for. if I don't follow through I will have given them a freebie. As my name will not be removed until I proceed with the next steps.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund.

Or they need to follow through on what was promised and remove my name and issue the new title without the additional steps.

Review: I contacted this company to prepare a [redacted] for a Timeshare in [redacted]. My former wife agreed to having her name removed from the deed. I payed the title company upfront ($290.00). This company is very unprofessional and incompetent. At the end of the process, they wanted an additional payment to have my former wife's husband name removed. I explained from the beginning that she had remarried and moved from [redacted] to [redacted]. There was no mention by the company that he would be involved. His name is not on the deed and I am the one who made payments and payed it off in February 2015. I am still paying monthly maintenance fees. After complaining on several occasions they credited my account $100.00 of the original fee. They claimed it was the law in [redacted] but provided no proof.
