I had water damage to my home from a faulty icemaker lineChicago Fire & Water arrived within an hour of the request for serviceThey assessed the situation, and guided me through the process of making a claim on my homeowners insuranceAn hour after that, the demo team arrived to remove, treat, and clean up the water damaged areas The crew - Steven *and Jose *- were professional and highly efficient - obviously experts at their workBy evening, the damaged area was cleaned up and drying outIt was a very positive experience to work with CF&W on such an unpleasant and anxiety-filled eventI would definitely recommend them if you experience water damage

Had water damage from the upstairs neighbors water heater leaking down into my condo all afternoon CWFR came out right away, walked me through the process, set up the mitigation equipment and came back and removed it when everything was dry The crew, Anthony and Brendan, were wonderful!! I opted to use CWFR for my repairs as well and they have been so helpful, contacting my insurance company, explaining the process I am going to be gone for a month and they will call when I return to complete the repairsEveryone I've dealt with to date, from the project manager, the crew, the insurance adjuster and Eddie, have been professional, knowledgeable, friendly and so helpfulThey made what could have been a nightmare an easy process, particularly since it happened right before I was to leave town for a month

I had a drain pipe break in my house Water from my kitchen and laundry had been going thru my wall and into my crawl space I had a recommendation to call Chicago Water and Fire RestorationI am midway thru the process and at this point, I cannot be more satisfied Not only did the adjuster Vinnie put me at ease with the situation, he was very professional and detailed the whole process They are working with my insurance and I literally do not have to do anything The clean up crew came out the next dayThey were very courteous, professional and clean! I wish I could remember the names of all those who came out but the water has taken days to dry out A different crew came out every two days to evaluate the situation EVERY group was just as courteous and professional as the others Two of them were brothers, I think Mike was one The last crew just left today, Steve H and Mike M they picked up all the equipment and completed the final treatments I look forward to hearing from their reconstruction group I fully recommend this group to any homeowner who experiences damage to their home They turn that feeling of devastation into a feeling that things are going to be taken care of

Our water heater broke and caused a real mess including water going up the drywall Everyone was very professional They were in constant contact to keep us updated on what was going on and ETA's for when they were coming out They were quick to come out They took care in bringing in their equipment and removing it Everything was explained and contact information was given in the event we had any questions When a disaster strikes, it's nice to have people who make you comfortable and are compassionate From the phone contacts, the initial coming out to the final inspection and pick up of equipment, these folks (Mike, Moises, Blake, Eddie, and the final team of " Steve and Steve" - and others who called to keep us updated ) were great

I had a water pipe burst in my crawl space, and by the time I found it there was already 2' of water! I called Chicago Water & Fire and they had a technician at my home in minutes!!! The technician reassured me that they would pump out the water and dry everything out! What really impressed me is how the tech calmed my wife down, and explained that it will be ok!! We discovered a water leak on a Sunday The leak was over a wood floor and had been leaking for several days The wood plank floor was already turning brown in spots Chicago Water & Fire came out that afternoon to assess the situation and installed equipment to remove the moisture and dry out the wood floor that evening Wood floor looked great when they were done Excellent job by pm Aaron [redacted] and technicians Gil and Mike

Excellent business relationship! Timely addressed the job (emergency I might add) and followed up to insure satisfaction Workmen were a pleasure to have around nad not only completed the job professionally but cleaned up everything afterwards Great company to have when You are in need!

Due to a faulty gasket on my sump pump, I returned home one evening to the sound of rushing water I ran into the basement to find that the sump was ejecting water straight into my finished basement Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled! The emergency plumber that I called referred me to Chicago Water and Fire, and boy am I glad that he did! To make a long story short, the folks at CW&F walked me through every step of what they would need to do to get my basement back to normal The process did take over a month or so, but that was due to my insurance, and CW&F had warned me that this would be the hardest part I am happy to report that my basement is in better shape than it was before the minor flood! Thanks CW&F for a job well done!

We have diligently been in contact with Mr*** and we have settled this misunderstanding internally. Mr*** will be acknowledging the same and that this is considered resolved

We are continuing to work with the customer on this. The original work was completed by our company to the customers satisfaction. There is an additional source of damage which is causing the work to become compromised, but we are working with Mr*** and the installer of the floor
towards a resolution
