The first time we rented a party room for a lasertag birthdayOn the day of the event, there was another party scheduled at the same timeThus sharing the lasertag spaceWe were supposed to be made aware if another party was looking to book and been given the opportunity to rent the entire spaceThe other party was much older children and it was a dangerous situation to put small children in a laser tag with much larger children
The second time was really just a scheduling issueIt was scheduled incorrectly by whirlyball staffThe confirmation email was correct except a tiny note at the bottom that I, unfortunately, didn't catch
The third time we had to cancel our reservation several weeks in advanceWe would only get the refund of the deposit if they resold our time slotTwo days prior to that date I received an email saying they hadn't resold the time slot and we wouldn't get our money backThe next day I had a friend call and ask if they had any availability on the day of our time slot and they said they were "completely sold out." I then called the office and asked why I was told they hadn't sold out our timeThey said they were waiting for confirmation for the party that was interested in our time slotThey never contacted me backOn Sunday I decided to go to Whirlyball and see for myselfThere were two parties playing Lasertag during our "unsold" time slotThe manager said they would call me on Monday to refund the depositThey never called or refunded the paymentI eventually had to call, explain the entire situation again and request a refund
