Mr. [redacted] visited our shop on 6-13 for multiple services the one in dispute is the Air...

Conditioning not working. I told him the initial service is to charge the AC and then trace for the problem or multiple problems which is $79.99 and he agreed to service. Upon doing that, we spent a couple of hours tracing the problem to a malfunctioning Relay which we installed and cost $19.99 our labor rate is $85.00 per hour but I only charged him for 1 hour not the two we actually spent. The customer left our shop happy with the AC working properly. A few days later he called informing me that it was not working again so I told him to come in a week or so later because the AC machine was being serviced. When he came in I had to recharge the AC system again at my expense and spent another hour or so tracing his other problem with AC. Upon doing that I found the AC Compressor has a small leak and needs to be replaced, the customer declined the service and demanded a full refund. I tried in as many ways possible to make him understand that he has to pay for Services Rendered but with no success. I finally decided to give him a partial refund of $85.00 in the form of a company check. He has now disputed the entire amount of the credit card charge of $296.69 with his bank and the $296.69 has been deducted from my account plus he has my $85.00 check!!
Mr. [redacted] as I tried explaining to you multiple times before, I feel that I was more than fair with the amount I charged you and even agreed to give you a partial refund of $85.00 but you must understand you do have to pay for Services & Parts Rendered!
Initial Service $79.99
Parts $19.99
Labor charged $85.00
Refunded -$85.00
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/08/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I completely disagree with the owner [redacted] on whatever he described, [redacted] wrote that I agreed on the rate he charged me for AC, but [redacted] never discussed the charges with me as I dropped my car at his place. On the other hand, I called him the next day to ask him about the problem with the AC and how much it is going to cost me.[redacted] the owner told me that he will call me back as he still didn't had a chance to look at my car. I never got call back from him, instead I called him after few hours and he told me that he was trying to contact me and he had a wrong number so he just went ahead and fixed my car without even discussing the charges. Unfortunately I had to pay the whole amount as I had no choice; moreover, [redacted] also wrote that I called him after a few weeks about my AC not working, instead I called him on Monday morning as they are closed on Sunday. I also want to mention one more thing that he broke the hood latch of my car and it wasn't my fault either but I still paid for it and he mentioned that he gave me $85 check but I never deposited that check in the bank, I still have that check with me. I am not a money hungry person,I just didn't wanted to pay for the services which I never received. After going through all this mess I called my credit card company and told them the whole situation and that's why they refunded me my whole money back. I found this place through [redacted] for oil change deal and I called[redacted] asking him about the deal and he told me not to buy [redacted] as he was going to honor the price. So seems like he is cheating with [redacted] as well.
