Review: I purchased a mini pig from Lisa Emberg giving a 100$ deposit then $350 when the pig was delivered. The pig is nippy and has behavior issues, I knew this from the moment she handed the pig to me and I sat in my car with it for an hour I texted Lisa I had doubts and she reassured me that everything would be fine "he was just scared". Later that same day December 14th 2013 I called Lisa to ask about the pigs behavior that had not improved she reassured me and told me to "try getting him home and letting him settle in" she told me that "if the pig doesn't work out she would always take him back to her home and refund the $350" she went on to say she "would keep the $100 deposit" which I understood. I contacted her through facebook messaging multiple time telling her that the behavior was not getting better and finally letting her know that the pig would have to come home to her. Up until December 29th she counseled me on pig behavior and what to do then I heard nothing more. I tried her suggestions...the pig bites and he can't stay in our home. I contacted her via phone where she reminded me that after 15 days there would be no refund and that she had not received my messages after the 29th however they were on the same communication string that we were communicating daily on. I never signed a contract nor did Lisa ever give me a date by which to have my mind made up regarding the little pig coming home to her in order to get a refund. She emailed me again stating that there would be no refund and said my family had to have done something to the pig to make it mean however it was mean the very first day I got it. She proceeded to inform me that the deal was over when I took and paid for the pig. Again, this was not discussed before hand or when the exchange was made. I confirmed with her on our phone calls that the $350 would be returned on the date of sale via phone call because at that time I was 85% sure it would be not working out. Lisa will not refund my money but will resell the pig.Desired Settlement: I would like for the little pig to be re-homed whether it is with her or another family I do not care as long as he is happy. The pig bites randomly and not one person in particular. Maybe a home with older kids or pig experience would be better and I want my $350 back.
