Sorry for not responding in a timely manner Mr [redacted] was out of town performing on " [redacted] " I have checked again with all our crew members who were present and have reiterated their statements that the lady who brought the box back was not present when the male customer bought and ate the chicken Ironically the customer who bought and ate the chicken have not complained to you or our company However, upon Mr***'s arrival I questioned him again regarding the amount of chicken that was returned in the box and have not changed his statement either Mr*** has nothing to gain or lose in regards to any refund Again, the lady did not purchase the food, but we would refund the customer the balance of the chicken returned in the box[redacted] ***, General Manager Chicken King

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.            I reject this because it isn't true.  There was 6 pieces left in the box plus 2 rolls.  I never asked for a refund, I asked for the remaining chicken that fell onto the ground be replaced.  Also I was in the parking lot when my husband walked out the door and the bottom of the box came open.  I helped him pick up the chicken and went back into the store immediately not 10 minutes later.  There were witnesses in the store who told Mr. [redacted] what happened.  Mr [redacted] kept saying it wasn't his responsibility and was very rude and disrespectful  to us.  I never raised my voice to him but he threatened to call the police on me because I wouldn't take the bag he kept shoving out the window.  I never asked for a refund and he never offered one.  So the response they gave was untrue.

On Saturday April 9, 2016, a male customer ordered 8Pc Chicken with a drink.  It consists of 2legs, 2thighs, 2wings, 2 breasts and 4rolls.  After it was placed in a "TO GO" box, the customer said not to put the box in a bag because he was going to sit and eat.  The customer then sat...

and ate in the lobby.  Approximately, 10-15minutes after the customer left, a female came into the restaurant with the box saying the chicken fell out of the box and demanded a full refund.  The Manager on duty, Mr. [redacted], looked in the box and saw 2legs and 2thighs.  Mr. [redacted] explained to the lady that he will refund what was in the box, but the lady adamantly refused the partial refund.  The customer who purchased the chicken kept saying to the lady to "Leave it alone", but the lady demanded a full refund and refused the refund of what was returned in the box.  Let me reiterate, that lady was no where in sight when the man ordered, paid and ate the chicken.  The question is why did the lady bringt back only 4 pieces of chicken and not the 8 pieces plus the 4 rolls that were originally placed in the box???  There were 3 servers who saw the man sat and ate the chicken.  We would gladly refund the full amount if it was justified.  Please note, the man told the server NOT to place the box in a bag as we normally do.
