Review: We called to have them snake a drain, we asked for a truck mountain system to blast out the clog from the start as our property management firm has a snake system on hand and already attempted this service. The plumber who showed up said he would arrange for a blaster style system. He did not have the tool he needed to fix the issue on hand and did not use the proper tool we requested. Chicks Plumbing failed to fix the problem. He handed a bill for $391.00 despite not performing the service we requested. We were very clear and up front with what we needed. They failed and were unprofessional in the customer service when we asked for a refund for service they failed to provide yet still charged. When contacted asking for a refund they made an excuse saying we need a $3100 clean out installed (Rip Off considering we have a oversized clean out already!). The next plumber came in, found the problem in 5 minutes (someone flushed parts) and fixed it, bill for $140 and problem solved. There reputation is deplorableBeware of Chicks plumbing. There customer service is appalling and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: Since they did not provide the service we requested nor were they able to fix the problem we ask for a full refund.

RE: ID 1[redacted]Chick's Plumbing received a call on January 28, 2015 from [redacted] at [redacted] inregards to a drain problem. [redacted] stated that another plumber was suppose to be outthat morning but had never showed up. Chick's Plumbing was asked to go to [redacted]that day as there was "water everywhere." [redacted] never asked Chick's Plumbing tobring specific equipment.A Chick's Plumbing plumber arrived at [redacted] at 1:46 pm on January 28, 2015 andmet with [redacted]. The plumber was informed that [redacted] was out the previous day, hadtrouble clearing the line but finally cleared it. The line stopped up again the next day,January 28, 2015. [redacted] was supposed to return to clear the line again but nevershowed up. That was when Chick's Plumbing was called.[redacted] took the plumber down the street to another building to get authorization from [redacted] to snake the drain. [redacted] or [redacted] never asked for specific equipment to be used.[redacted] said he "was busy, just go ahead and clear it." The plumber ran a snake and clearedthe blockage with a 1f2 inch cable approximately 2!5 feet down the line. The drain was clearand flowing when the plumber left. [redacted] was not given a warranty on the work don~as there is a problem with proper access to the line. [redacted] was informed the line would clogagain soon unless the access was fixed. The plumber made a recommendation to [redacted]vocally and in writing on the invoice, however, [redacted] declined going forward with therecommendation. [redacted] signed the invoice and paid with a check from [redacted].At no time during the initial phone call from [redacted], the service call with [redacted] and briefmeeting with [redacted] was there any mention of using any equipment other than a snake, perhaps that information was given to the first plumber that was called.
