Review: I took my car here in June to get a new AC compression clutch. Four months later while I was driving a heard a noise and pulled over and there was a hot metal part of my car on the ground. I took it to an auto shop where I knew a guy worked. He told me that was my AC clutch and it was not a new one, the person that fixed it must have just put a metal washer in between it to space it out for a temporary fix and I should definitely go back there. The next day I did and I brought in my receipt and asked the guy what was going on. He was extremely rude yelled and cussed and me then finally said I can bring it in on Monday for them to take a look. When I took it in he then told me that they only fixed the shoe and not the clutch so they would not warranty it. My receipt clearly said it was the AC compression clutch, said nothing about a shoe. They didn't fix what they charged me for and what the they wrote on the receipt. I had the worst customer service of my life got yelled at, cussed at and hung up on I seriously left there in tears. (the only time they were semi-nice was when I took my boyfriend in with me) Meanwhile I had two different mechanics look at it and tell me that those guys took advantage of me and screwed me over. I made a BAR complaint and am waiting on the response from that.Desired Settlement: I would like my $371.27 back since they did not do what they claimed to have done.

SHE DID NOT TELL YOU THE REAL REASON, THAT HER CAR HAD OVERHEATED AND WAS OUT OF WATER THAT SHE WAS DRIVING

WHEN SHE CAME IN. SHE HAD STOPED AT ANOTHER SHOP FOR A LOOK SEE AND AT WHICH TIME THEY FOUND THE BURNT UP

CLUTCH, OVERHEATING THE ENGINE WILL CAUSE THE A/C SYSTEM TO STOP & START BY THE HI/PRESSURE SWITCH WHICH WILL OVERHEAT THE CLUTCH BEARING CAUSING COMPRESSOR FAILURE AND SHIRLEY CLUTCH FAILURE!!!!WHEN SHE FIRST

CAME IN WE WERE TALKING A NEW COMPLETE A/C CLUTCH AND THE MOST PROBLEM WAS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON

WHEN CHECKED WAS ENGINE VALVES NEEDED ADJUSTING AND THE ENGINE WAS OUT OF OIL, ALSO INTICATED SPARK PLUGS WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACE SOON. ALL THIS WAS TOO MUCH MONEY FOR HER TO AFFORD.WE ALSO FOUND THE A/C CLUTCH

SHOE WAS THE ONLY PIECE OF THE CLUTCH MISSING. I ADAVISED HER WE COULD INSALL THE SHOE ONLY BECAUSE THE A/C

SYSTEM WAS STILL FULLY CHARGED, WHICH WAS NOT NOTED CORRECTLEY ON INVOICE. THE REMAN SHOE & LABOR ONLY CAME $150.00 DOLLARS NOTNOT $371.27.I HAD EXPLAINED ALL THIS TO HER AND ALL SHE WANTED WAS TO BLAME THE A/C CLUTCH FOR HER PROBLEM. I THEN TOLD HER I WOULD PUT A NEW SHOE ON AT NO CHARGE BUT THIS WOULD NOT REPAIR HER CAR WHICH WAS OUT OF WATER DUE TO BAD WATER PUMP.SHE THEN YELLED AND CUSSED MORE EVEN USED THE F WORD.

SHE THEN SAID SHE WOUD CALL THE BAR AND EVEYONE ELSE CAND COMPLAIN.I TOLD IT WAS HER RIGHT TO DO SO AND TOLD HER I WOULD FILL THE ENGINE WITH WATER SO SHE COULD REMOVE THE TO ANOTHER SHOP AND I WOULD GIVE HER A WRITTEN ESTIMATE FOR THE WATERPUMP REPAIR AND ALSO THE A.C SYSTEM REPAIR WHICH WAS DONE ALL FOR FREE!!!!

I ALSO SHOWED HER THE COST OF REPLACING ANEW A/C CLUTCH WAS WAY MORE THAN JUST REPLACING THE SHOE ONLY.

I REALLY TRIED HARD TO EXPLAIN ALL OF THIS TO HER, BUT WOULD NOT LISTEN AND YELLED AND STOMPED OUT SAYING SHE

WOULD CALL THE BAR AND EVERYONE ELSE AND FILE LOTS OF COMLPAINTS.IF NEEDED I CAN FAX ACOPY OF THE REPAIR ORDER FOR FURTHER INFO.

I am rejecting this response because: My car had not been over heating, I make sure to look at my temperature gauge. Back in June when I went there I was never told that there were any other problems than my AC clutch. I definitely never said I couldn't afford it. I wanted whatever needed to be fixed fixed. Since they only fixed "part of the problem" (which was the only problem they ever told me there was) now I have more problems because of it and I do not feel like that is my fault. I wanted the whole problem fixed. I was never told anything about fixing just the AC clutch shoe until the third time I talked to them. He said "SHE WANTED WAS TO BLAME THE A/C CLUTCH FOR HER PROBLEM." That is what they told me was the problem when I first went there to get my car fixed, they did not say there were other problems. And them writing the wrong thing on the invoice seams like a very strange coincidence in their favor. Again, I have attached a copy of my receipt showing the AC clutch being Replaced. -which did not happen.
