Chicopee Tax and Financial Services

I dropped off my taxes to an accountant [redacted] at CTFS in Chicopee on April 3rd. He told me he may get them completed before the tax deadline but would file an extension if he wasn't able to complete them in time. I spoke to him a couple times since then and he assured me that they were nearly complete for filing. He called me on 6-19-13 and asked a financial question about my interest for my savings account. He left that message on my voicemail. I called him back and left a message on his voicemail with the amount. Since June 19th, I've called [redacted] 70-100 times, not one time did he answer. I left several messages with my name and phone number for him to call me back. Til this day I still haven't heard anything back. All I want at this point is to have all my tax documents back so I can have someone else file them. That's impossible because I can't even speak with him.Desired SettlementI would like to get my tax documents back from this individual.Business' Initial Response I have been out of the office dealing with medical problems for my elderly father in Florida. He has broken his hip and had a hart attack in the same week. I have resolved the issue with [redacted] and a lot of what was said in his complaint was not the truth but that is one of the issues that we had with our communications. He has his taxes back and the matter is resolved.Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I did get my tax documents back finally. I called him several more times and still did not get an answer or a call back. I drive by his office several times a week for my part time job and happened to see his car there. That is when I collected all my documents from him. He told me he was on vacation at the Cape and shuts his phone off while he goes on vacation. (Says no one ever). I recorded the conversation in case things got confrontational. He's a liar. I have the conversation to prove it. I was referred to him by a friend at my full time job. My friend gave him many referrals. I was the last person to use him. Now I know why everyone left his business and found another accountant. I guess I consider this matter resolved but I would like to give a strong warning to anyone else that might be mislead by this fraud. Find someone else that takes pride in their work and believes in good communication. That is what makes a professional and clearly [redacted] and Chicopee Tax and Financial Services is not even close!!!!!
