This vehicle was taken in at our IlocationUnfortunately the warranty from Hyundai motor company had expired and the vehicle has no warranty to cover repairsWe have offered to sell the motor at cost and handle the labor free of charge and this is the best we can doWe also do need closer on this matter as we have been storing the unit free of charge

We’ve spoken to Ms*** and agreed to refund the amount in question and are scheduling the repair on the right door for the 2nd week of JulyPlease let me know if you require any further action on our part to put this complaint to rest

We replaced the fuel pipe at the high pressure pump and ordered an engine cover (fuel soaked, swollen)The cause of failure is uncertain, This vehicle had an engine replacement in Illinois at miles; the high pressure fuel tube could have incurred damage at that time, but we are uncertainWhen
we perform an injection flush, it is done through the intakeWe would never remove a high pressure line to perform said service due to high line pressureThe technician working on this vehicle explained everything to this customerI spoke with her, by phone this morning, and she is upset with Hyundai, because she wanted her vehicle bought backThey did not complyThe customer wants an explanation from the manufacturer as to why all these things are happening to her carShe does not trust any dealerWe fixed the customer's concern, explained what occurred, and even went to the gas station with her to show her the vehicle was repairedWe went above and beyond! The damaged line and subsequent repair were shown to the customer; the technician explained the repair and went to the gas station with the customer to fill her vehicle - she was again shown the repairWe (Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest) were responsible for repairing this vehicle, not the cause of failureTeresa (owner) was kind during our conversation, but does not understand where to place the blame for this failureBeing this is a mechanical failure to a high pressure fuel line, blame is impossible to discern - but we never touched this line previous to our replacement; therefore, Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest holds no liability for failure of this vehicles high pressure line failureI hope Teresa gets an adequate explanation from the manufacturer that will satisfy her concernWe did our due diligence to accommodate this customer. I am rejecting this response because:  During the installation of the purchased motor, Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest also installed after market radiator (part number P2412; attached) into my 2007 Hyundai Accent GS.  That radiator does not fit my 2007 Hyundai Accent GS (attached).  The radiator was too large and rubbed on a bracket causing coolant leakage, overheating, and subsequent motor damage within three months of installation.I have hired representation to close this issue.
